This is a nicely made thermometer with a long probe. Unfortunately, I bought it when it was more expensive at $10.79, but it's another 11% off or so today at $9.59 for one or $13.59 for two. It's so well made that I should have gotten the two pack. The red dial is nice if it's a feature you want. There are other deep fry thermometers that area slightly cheaper, especially comparing the full price, but it looks like this one has the most reviews.

Good for use as advertised. The scales are a bit difficult to read also it reads about 5degree C too high. not a big drawback but nevertheless not 5 stars.
