Avid G2 Clean Sweep Bicycle Disc Brake Rotor

I purchased a 2009 Specialized Crosstrail Comp a few years ago, and the front rotor had always been off. Not sure if it was a defect or what, but after ignoring it for awhile, I decided to swap it out. Picked up this rotor, swapped it out (direct replacement) and it's been working great! No complaints. It comes with the full retail packaging, including new screws for installation. All in all, if your rotors are warped or just worn down, this is a great replacement!

Works great. Using it on RockRider 8.0 with Tektro Auriga Comp calliper and Jagwire pads. Before replacing the rotors it was just noise and no stop! Now some noise and great stop!

Replaced a stock disc that was always in need of truing when I upgraded my mtb from the original cheap hydraulics to quality mechanicals (Avid bb7s -- recommended). Ordered better discs to go with them, and the result? I've only had to true one of the discs once in more than two years of riding.

I bought these rotors for my back up wheel set. I currently have them on my "race wheels". I am running the BB7 brakes. I have had no issues with avid rotors, and I am happy with their preformance. I only ride trails/single track/cross country with this set up on my single speed mtb. Amazon had the best price and made shopping easy.

My Avid Elixir CR's came with G3 rotors. The rear one screamed like a banshee. I tried recommended method of break-in and set-up per SRAM 3 times and nothing quieted the squeal. Finally opted to change rotor. The G2 is slightly heavier due to fewer cut-outs and I believe this may be why it is more quiet. There is more solid surface for the pads to contact. I know the G3 squealing may have a variety of causes, but my hardtail 29er was not any fun to ride with the relentless brake squeal. Local shop wanted me to pay twice the Amazon price for this part. SRAM only provides a ridiculous fully solid rotor to solve this problem ("Solid Sweep"). That is why I buy from Amazon.

They are great they lasted 8000 miles but only 1 car accident. Ride safe

Works well after the break-in period. Have to make about 15-20 hard stops with new disk only. Then you will notice an increase in stopping power. Initially it feels like there is no stopping power at all.

Fits like it is suppose to. Had to replace my bent one and the LBS were out of the G2's since they were now carrying the G3's. I'm OCD about symmetry so I needed the G2's on the front and back. Good price and shipped right away.
