Superlight Aluminum Dive Reel 100 Feet of Scuba Line Mussel That Perfectly Complements The Environment

Was expecting better quality for the price and was disappointed when it arrived. It has several pretty sharp nicks and edges that underwater releasing this line is sure to cause some cuts. The nicks are very visible and shouldn’t have been sent out like this. The color is also green. Not the blue/aqua it appears in their photos. Returning and sticking with my plastic one which is a bummer because I was really looking forward to getting this one.

I purchased this reel based on the material and price point. The anodized green aluminum reel paired with orange line was exactly what I was looking for. While there are other aluminum and stainless steel figure spools most have priced themselves out of my budget. After receiving the reel I noticed that the material was of solid construction and that I could use my 5mm gloves and still grip the spool through the center axil. There are other well thought out features that I missed on my first dive. However now that I know the side clip off points for my bolt snap is offset I always have a place to clip off.When I received the reel and line the line was not spooled. At first I said "really" but then I changed my opinion. By spooling it myself I know the knot at the end is there and will hold. This product is MADE IN THE U.S.A., that being said I will take the three minutes to spool it myself and support a small business. By spooling it myself I can imagine this helped keep the price of a quality product within reason.I would buy another one and I do recommend this to my dive buddies.

Great design but they actually put too much line on the reel (personal preference). I find when the spool is nearly full that when I deploy underwater, the excess line is more likely to roll over the sides. I cut 25 feet off and that resolved the issue. Once again, personal preference but wish they made a model that was not quite as wide. Would make great jump reels (25-50 feet)!

Just received the reel today. I have wanted an aluminum reel for a long time but couldn't afford other brands.The reel is high quality. Middle hole is plenty large to operate with gloves and polished smooth. Sides are flared for easy spooling and unspooling unlike the cheap plastic reels. Plenty of offset holes for a snap clip.Line was not on reel which is my preference as I unreel the line to make sure they are securely tied anyway.Can't wait to try it out in the water!!

Great line and reel. The line is really strong and holds up very well and the real is really easy to use even with wreck diving gloves. Not to mention it looks way better than those plastic reels

Nice reel that can be easily used with 5 mm gloves...line being neon orange is a plus as well.

Great looking reel but the line came all tangled up and took a couple of hours to untangle it. Maybe the manufacturer should consider reeling in the line?
