I originally bought these felt strips to deal with a small rattle in my car caused by the stabilizer bar, and they actually worked for that. Since I only needed a little bit for the car, I ended up using the rest under some furniture like chairs and a small table on my hardwood floors. The adhesive seems to stick fine, and the felt itself is reasonably soft and thick, not super thick, but definitely not flimsy or paper-thin. Once installed, the felt did make a noticeable difference: the rattle in my car disappeared, and sliding chairs around no longer feels like I’m scratching the floor. Everything moves a lot smoother and quieter. Even when leaning or shifting weight, that “wood dragging” sound is basically gone. However, this is still just simple adhesive felt tape. If you have something that gets moved a lot or carries a lot of weight, the felt won’t hold up forever. For example, the strips under our dining chairs started compressing and loosening after some time because of the constant pressure and movement. But under furniture that barely moves, like a table or a side cabinet, they’ve stayed in place without any issues. Overall, if you’re using these for light cushioning and noise reduction on everyday furniture, they work perfectly fine. For heavier items or things that get moved constantly, I wouldn’t expect too much from adhesive felt strips. They’re great for what they are, just not a long-term solution for high-stress use.

Used on runners of recliner. They were the right size and provided floor protection. Made the chair slip resistant.

Quality felt strips. I wish they were a little more sticky, but they do the job. I use them on my roomba to protect my white baseboards

The felt seems fine, but the roll was bound so tightly by rubber bands that there are literal creases in the felt which have caused portions of the adhesive backing to become exposed. As you’d expect, those parts where the backing separated away from the adhesive are now full of dirt and all kinds of crap that will render the adhesive useless. Aside from that, it has worked well at sealing gaps in doorways, creating soft surfaces for things that would otherwise scratch tabletops, and more.

Used this on my sofa and chair legs instead of the felt protectors which kept coming off. Floor protected and sofa does not move. Like that I can cut to size.

Good felt pads Got these to put along the runners on a rocking chair so they don't marr the wood floors. Recommended

Great stuff. A little tricky to remove backing. But once installed is perfect if my application.
