With enough effort you can change the lcd animal motor to this led version and it works great.
Works great. I used it as parts to upgrade my non digital V11 animal as they use different batteries and I wanted to keep the removable battery. It was a gamble but it is possible if you are very skilled.

Everything I needed to fix my Dyson V11 vacuum !!
First I was shocked that the replacement Dyson body was sent with addition screws and the screw removal tool. It made the job so much easier! It took me about 30 minutes to carefully remove the existing screws holding the battery and installing it on the new replacement body. I was shocked that the new body worked better than the original (better suction) also the new body tells me how much battery I have left on the mode I am using. Very cool! I am a happy camper. Hope it lasts.

Direct Preplacement for V11 Torque Drive
Product arrived before scheduled delivery day and was exactly as described. It arrived factory packaged and in perfect condition. It was an exact replacement. It was easy to assemble with my old parts. Works great. This part was sold out by the manufacturer website and was only a 4 dollars more here on Amazon. Plus shipping was free , so it was a good deal especially considering a new V11 goes for close to $500 retail.

Wrong product??
Our Dyson v11 torque drive is only 2 years old and has lost suction. We decided to just buy the new motor since all the other parts are still good. This is supposed to be the v11 torque drive motor… but our battery doesn’t fit? The handle looks completely different from our original one so the battery isn’t compatible.. And it came dented…

Blew out my motor with a damp filter
I washed my Dyson v11 filter and set it out to dry for 24 hours. It felt a little damp when I put it back on but I thought it was dry enough. Turns out it wasn’t and it pulled water into the motor and it wouldn’t come back on. I thought the entire vacuum would have to be replaced and research led me to just replacing this part. Works perfectly and maybe even stronger than old one…actually pulls up an area rug a little with the suction power which the old motor did not do. Lesson learned about filters and buying a spare so I never have to risk having a dry one. Love this Dyson and glad it is back in working order. Once you know how great they are it is hard to change to anything else. If you order this replacement part, take note of two different types of battery compartments and which one you have. Mine was the screw type and not clip in.

Perfect fit
Exact replacement. You must be sure you order the part for the exact model you have. Must be the exact model you have even it it "looks" the same it will not fit. The unit I ordered was an exact fit and took about 10-15 minutes to change out the old one.
