Less features than the product is ostensibly replaces
They have replaced the physical buttons that the older Logitech presenters had with hidden features. These only work if you install the presentation software locally. For example the older units had a button to turn the screen black. This is possible now only with the presentation software installed.

Great presentation remote. It works well and is very responsive. It's plug and play. It has a good range and only needs one battery. I like that the receiver stores easily within the remote. The laser pointer is nice, but if you're wanting to point at a monitor (instead of a projector screen), you'll probably need a green laser.

I have started doing a lot of training sessions, and this little device has made it so much easier! I primarily use PowerPoint and Menti.com for my presentations, and this clicker works great - even at a distance in larger rooms!
