Needed something to find a live ignition wire in a bundle of wires on my bike. Perfect for the job without tampering with the harness.

This tester does not use a bulb
The Tester itself is great, however buyers should be aware that it uses an LED as opposed to a filament bulb which is stated in the description. An LED will show good continuity, but not necessarily good wiring. If you are testing a circuit with corroded wires, you are not putting a load on the wiring, consequently the test lamp will light but the wiring will not support current. Test the same circuit with a bulb filament tester and it will almost certainly show no continuity, indicating that you have a problem. The description for this item was therefore inaccurate as it stated that it uses a bulb, when clearly it does not.

It Works
The tester works as described and is easy to see the red light. My only con is the alligator clip is not very strong and it slips off the grounding position easily.
