I love these! They are stainless so they are dishwasher safe. They work wonderfully. I don't like the 'bent' butter knives. These are straight bladed. The handles are twisted and very fun looking. They have been through the dishwasher multiple times - no problems. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Excellent quality and price. I have had some of this flatware for over 20 years. I keep adding to my collection. Heavy, handmade, beautiful and guests notice and comment on it. I have a a complete service set for 30 persons. I use it all year round with guests at my villa.

These spoons are fabulous. I never thought that I would call spoons fabulous, but they are. The trouble is that we can never find one. I bought four each of the spoons, forks, and spreaders, and can account for only one spoon. This illustrates that we use(d) them a lot—a LOT.This may sound silly, but I use them as a tool for one of those "eat healthier" strategies. It makes sense, though: smaller cutlery, smaller bites, smaller mouthfuls… that sort of stuff invites your body to eat slower, and gives it time to digest, so that you will begin to notice that you feel fuller when you are done. It really works.I use them for yogurt, oatmeal, and, omg, ICE CREAM. I'd much rather have 20 spoonfuls of ice cream instead of, oh, let's say the "five" you'd enjoy via a traditional spoon. Yes, yes, I know it's psychological rhetoric, but it's my crutch and I'm stickin' to it.I even like their look… as a previous reviewer experienced, a number of my guests have admired them as well. The material is heavier than you would imagine, giving the pieces a more "quality feel." And the size is perfect… in terms of the spoons, anyway. While I think they are larger than most traditional demitasse/espresso spoons, they are still small enough to suffice.Anyway, I'm back here to order more… perhaps just the spoons, but maybe I'll go completely over the edge and get another set of forks as well. You only live once.

We purchased knives, forks, and spoons in this pattern for use with appetizers and were happy with the quality and weight. When my husband saw them, he suggested we keep them in the kitchenette in our home office so we have utensils, if needed, for snacks. Their size is just a little larger than one would expect for appetizers and smaller than usual for dining, so they can go either way. (Earlier this week, when our daughter stopped by unexpectedly, I picked up enough KFC for a light lunch for all of us and we ate in the home office using these utensils. She laughed when she saw them, but they worked fine!)
