Excellent Meter.
I love this meter. I use it everyday in my work as a technician. It hasn't failed me yet. It's easy to use and seems to be accurate. It replaced my $300 fluke which bit the dust after so many years of excellent service. This Klein works just as good. It is a little bit smaller than my Fluke was and therefore fits better into my tool pouch pocket. The case is very durable and the screen lights up well. It is a very good value for the money.

Great Quality Multimeter for the Price
I’ve been using the Klein Tools MM325 Multimeter for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how well it performs for both DIY and professional use. The build quality is solid—typical of Klein Tools—and it feels durable enough to handle daily use in a toolbox or on a job site. The display is clear and easy to read, even in lower light. The auto-ranging feature works accurately and saves a lot of time when switching between different measurements. It handles voltage, continuity, and resistance testing reliably, and the leads are sturdy with good flexibility. One of my favorite features is the backlight and data hold function—it’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference when working in tight or dark spaces. The battery life has been great so far, and the protective rubber case gives it a rugged feel that inspires confidence. If you need a dependable, mid-range multimeter without spending a fortune, the MM325 is a fantastic choice. Klein’s attention to detail really shows here. Pros: Sturdy and well-built Accurate readings Clear backlit display Great value for the price Cons: Doesn’t measure milliamps or microamps (not a dealbreaker for most) Slightly bulky for small tool pouches Verdict: Highly recommended for electricians, HVAC techs, or DIYers who want reliability and ease of use without going for high-end professional meters.

A good basic multimeter that would be priced about right IF it included a carrying case
I've been a fan of Klein Tools for awhile now; mostly the hand tools used for wiring and networking. When my 30 year-old multimeter died, I decided to get a simple Klein meter as a replacement. In terms of functions, it does everything that I need it to do. This is a manual meter but as someone that might reach for a multimeter half a dozen times a year, that's plenty adequate. Plus my old meter was also manual. I think this meter will serve me fine for years to come. I'm deducting one star because at this price point, I think a basic meter of this build quality should include a carrying case. The other reason why it gets a ding is that the continuity checking can be slightly fickle. I can't get the tone to consistently sound when checking continuity without fidgeting the leads a bit. It's not just the continuity tone, but other readings as well. I'm finding that I need to move the leads around to get a solid reading for most applications. Not a big deal and maybe that's how meters are at the lower price points. It's just something to be aware if you're looking for something with good sensitivity.

Reliable Multimeter for Guitar Electronics and Bench Work
I picked up the Klein Tools MM325 Digital Multimeter primarily for guitar electronics work at my bench, and it has been a great addition to my setup. When you’re working on guitars—whether installing pickups, troubleshooting wiring issues, or verifying pot and capacitor values—having a dependable multimeter is essential. The MM325 covers everything I need for that type of work. For pickup installations, the resistance measurement function is particularly useful for checking pickup output and confirming that coils are reading correctly before installation. Being able to quickly verify continuity is also extremely helpful when diagnosing wiring issues in control cavities, switches, and output jacks. The continuity tester responds quickly, which makes tracing wiring problems much easier. The audible tone is clear and immediate, so you don’t have to constantly watch the screen while probing connections. The meter itself feels solid and well built, which is exactly what I expect from Klein Tools. The controls are straightforward and easy to use, and the display is clear and easy to read even under bright bench lighting. While this is a manual-ranging meter, that’s perfectly fine for guitar and general electronics work. It keeps things simple and accurate without overcomplicating the tool. I’ve also used it to: Verify potentiometer values (250k / 500k pots) Check capacitor values and wiring continuity Confirm ground connections inside guitar cavities Test batteries for active pickups or pedals Pros Accurate and dependable measurements Fast and responsive continuity tester Solid build quality typical of Klein Tools Easy-to-read display Perfect for guitar electronics and hobby electronics work Cons Manual ranging may not appeal to users who prefer auto-range meters Bottom line: If you’re doing pickup installs, wiring mods, or general guitar electronics troubleshooting, the Klein MM325 is a reliable and straightforward multimeter that gets the job done without unnecessary complexity.
