Best battery recharger for Panasonic Eneloop bateries.
I have tried a number of rechargeable batteries for my Xbox Series X controllers, and the Panasonic Eneloop batteries, in combination with the Panasonic charger, are the absolute best. The charger has several different modes and displays, including the batteries’ charging voltage and an elapsed charging timer. I can easily get 10 hours or longer of use out of a single charge. Although I have only used the batteries for three cycles, they appear to work like new. The only minor downside is that I now need to insert two batteries into the controller instead of an integrated battery pack. But this is minor compared to the advantage of much longer use of the batteries.

Best Eneloop charger that they offer.
This charger can independently charge any combination of 1-4 AA or AAA Eneloop Pro or normal (white) Eneloop batteries, while telling you their exact voltage and charging status at all times. This connects to the wall with a plug at the end of a power cable, vs. their other chargers which generally have a foldable plug built into the charger, which you basically hang against the wall outlet. My other Eneloop chargers besides this one (most of the ones that come with the batteries) consistently fail or begin not charging my batteries correctly. Not sure what makes this charger special but it's perfect. In my opinion, unless you have very specific needs, this is and will continue to be the best charger Panasonic/Eneloop sells. It diagnoses battery health, never overcharges, and always charges every battery individually to the maximum and then stops. The Refresh feature runs a few cycles of fully charging and depleting the batteries, and has actually resurrected a handful of my older Eneloop Pro batteries, which highly impressed me. I would say it's one of the best features on the charger, and easily makes it worth buying over anything else. HIGHLY recommend this if you are even slightly invested in Eneloop's batteries. I'd pay like $100 for this charger.

A Good Solution
I have a range of batteries dating back 15 years (Sanyo marking) to Panasonic batteries almost 10 years old. But I had no idea how much charge these batteries would hold after so many years where I use these for camera strobes while on travel. Thus I needed to grade the batteries to understand if I should risk a trip on the older batteries or retire them. This charger has a mode which charges the battery, discharges it measuring the mAh's and finally brings them back to full charge. Thus the discharge milliamp hours are recorded for each cell individually. Note the charger treats each cell individually instead of some older Panasonic / Sanyo charges which put the batteries in series, not balancing the charge for each battery. Short story is the oldest batteries went into the trash given their capacity as <70%. A few were really bad with <50%. And most were approximately 85%. When should you discard the battery? It's subjective and perhaps depends on the application. But high draw photographic strobes pull a lot of current thus best to recycle the batteries below 80% or find some other use in less stressing applications. Otherwise the charger has some heft to it and appears to have quality in its construction. Notable is the charger does not have a separate power adapter. I consider that a win.

Fast and reliable
This is a very nice charger. It has given no trouble at all and it is faster than the wall warts that come with the batteries. It has a fairly bright blue backlight, but the engineers very thoughtfully turn it off so you can keep it in the bedroom and not lose sleep. It doesn't cook the batteries, they never get past warm, so the battery management is very good. When charging is over, it says FULL and gives independent status on each battery. I like that. Overall, I am totally satisfied with it.

Pricey But Worth It For An Amazing Charger
Amazing charger. It brought back batteries from the dead that I would've just tossed in the trash. Refresh takes a very long time for 4 batteries, around 8 hours. But worth the time to resurrect dead batteries. The only bad thing is it's kinda pricey but definitely worth it.

A battery charging BEAST worth the price of admission
This Panasonic BQ-CC65AKBBA is incredibly strong and reliable, compared with many of the other cheap, poorly-engineered alternatives. The up-front price is a bit daunting, but after a year of steady use across a wide array of different AA and AAA batteries of different chemistries, I can confidently say that I would not buy any other charger. At the risk of offering Dad advice: buy the best tools you can afford.

Good for AA or AAA batteries only
I haven’t had it very long but so far it’s doing everything it claims to do! I really do like that. It has the discharge mode. I think it’s worth the price. It ONLY does AA or AAA batteries so if you are looking to do like flashlight batteries, it’s not the one for you.

Quick charger
This charger is very nice, it tells you how much charge is in the battery while it is charging. It's pretty fast and it does not damage your batteries if you leave them in the charger.

It's an advanced beast! I use it daily to charge high-capacity Eneloop Pro , Powerex Pro , Ansmann pro back-to-back without even getting hot! It's got the refresh mode where it revives weak batteries by discharging slowly and recharging them fully too remove memory effect! Many people that the difference between an advanced Pro charger with a basic $5 chargers is the "charging algorithm". This advances Panasonic charger throttles the charging current on a curve to gain batteries maximum power. This way batteries don't get hot, and their performance is guaranteed!

I have had multiple rechargeable battery chargers over the years, with varying degrees of disappointment. Even when paired with the same manufacturer's batteries, it seemed like every 3rd charge cycle would kick out a battery with an error. Using this unit, even the "error" batteries were able to be repaired/conditioned and recharged with this unit. It supports charging of 4 batteries at a time, both AA and AAA, which can be mixed and matched in the same charging session. It is not a cheap unit, but based on the performance to date, I think it was worth the premium.
