We purchased this lantern for our cabin and everyone who walked in to visit in February commented on this beautiful lamp! I can't say enough on it's rustic charm sitting in front of our window. In March, we traveled to cabin and the light would not turn on. My husband took the glass globe off to replace a light bulb but new light bulb did not work. (And yes, the glass globe does come out by pulling up the spring loaded top of lantern and tilting the globe to take out.) He took the lamp with him to hardware store and used a voltmeter to make sure power was getting to the socket where you screw in the bulb and that was ok. He determined we might have a faulty socket because the power from there was not getting to the light bulb. At a loss as to what to do next, he called Muskoka Lifestyle Products in Utah, explained the situation with the lamp. The company representative was at a loss to explain it also, but he immediately sent out a new lantern. To me, the end line of this story is the American Company who stood by their product. They should by very proud of their business ethics. Stuff happens when you manufacture and ship your goods, but honoring your commitment to the customers buying your product is so very important. Thank You Muskoka Lifestyles for living up to the kind of company I expect from all companies! PS: The photo is to show the glass globe really does come out.

Love this little lantern and so does my husband. The light is adjustable, and we have it on a timer in our kitchen window. We are retired so often are gone for days and it always welcomes us home. The price is amazing and quality excellent.

It is a little small and where the bulb screws in it was sort of wobbly and didn’t set straight. Purchased it for an entryway table to be connected to a security system and it had to be rustic and this is all we could find that wasn’t too big for the entry table. . It’s really cute though and rustic looking and it works and we kept it. Just wish it would have been a bit taller and the center section not wobbly and straight and lamp switch is not the easiest to turn. Wasn’t a fan of the switch at all. I had a hard time getting the globe off to screw in the bulb too.

This is a really cool little lamp, it does not produce a ton of light but that is not why I bought it so know what you are buying before you buy! I love the low light in my home at night so this is perfect for the ambiance I am going for. The style is really cool and fits my rustic frontier style, everyone who comes in my home compliments this light, works great! First lamp i got had a small scratch, the company happily sent a replacement in exchange, but second one had same scratch in same spot, maybe something they are doing when packaging? not sure, but i take one star away because of this scratch issue. I only notice the scratch when i look up close in detail which i never do so its not a big deal to me.

Update: They sent a new replacement at no additional cost and it's been working flawlessly since. It appears they fixed the issurle. Inline switch stopped working in 4 months. There are enough reports on this that surely AMAZON KNOWS, yet they continue to scam customers into buying. Buyers expect Amazon to pay attention to faulty products and demand more from their vendors! This faulty lamp will no longer turn on. Very disgusting! It's worthless when it doesn't work. Not worth one dollar and certainly not worth $75 or $59 or even $1 because it's unreliable. After reading the reviews, it's clear to me that the manufacturer and Amazon already know this product has a fault! If you can't trust Amazon to force improvements of this product they routinely sell, then Amazon is scamming us! Look at the reviews! There are significant buyers who have already found the product to be defective, yet Amazon continues to sell this faulty item.
