A competent, solid choice to support the rest of the RP line in surround formats.
These have been a nice match with the RP-600m II, a bookshelf speaker that rocks hard and loves to play. Speakers have come a long way in the last decade and expectations are very high, so I understand if there are even cheaper speakers out there that perform close to the same and some people are just sick of seeing Klipsch everywhere, but these Reference Premier lines are truly good speakers, and a good value during Klipsch's (at-least) annual sales. A high end offering without being an over $2k boutique item is a rare thing these days. Being a center, the sound is well defined and powerful, both fairly open and forward at the same time, and take really well to room correction along with the rest of the RP line. Most of the time it isn't the speaker, it's your room or the cabinet you have to stuff it into to comply with the aesthetic of said room. Dirac Live in particular was able to very closely synchronize all my Klipsch RP II series speakers of various sizes together into a very cohesive whole where Dolby Atmos dialog tracks right with the character's positioning on my TV without phase issues. For people concerned with the giant horns, the tweeter at the center is really only an inch and Dirac actually ended up lifting the treble slightly to achieve a flatter target, so I did not find them offensive in the slightest. Out of the box, they even lean toward slightly dark, but take EQ very well and in any direction you want to go, which is a good sign of effortless reproduction with low distortion to begin with. The volumes they can hit with clarity with their high sensitivity are almost frightening. I have not had the nerve to get anywhere near distortion levels. They just rock while still able to please an audiophile with the details, bring out plenty of the emotion of the recording and really place the vocal track on surround recordings properly front and center Their sensitivity allows them to sound good at *low* listening levels too, but the most important thing is they fit in with the rest of your Klipsch stuff as you expand into the guilty pleasure of at-home surround :)

Crisp and clear center speaker for Klipsch systems
Makes a very nice center speaker for my 5.1 home theater. Clear and crisp dialog without being overly pushy.

it’s a speaker
does what it says, not sure if it’s worth the price but it certainly works and makes noise

Better than a soundbar unit
The sound is (vocals) clear upfront and precise. Much better as part of a dedicated AVR sound system than a sound bar stand alone unit.
