Rubies Deluxe Scooby-Doo Kid's Costume for Themed Parties and Halloween

This costume is not just a one night use. Once we received it in the mail, my two year old began playing with it right away.Sizing- My daughter wears a 3T / 4T, we bought the size 6 and I would not want it any smaller. Fit her great and she has a little bit growing room. The way the costume is designed, it is okay if it is a little big. When I ordered the 6, I was so worried it would be too big, but surprisingly it was perfect.One problem (but a small one)- My daughter was able to pull the felt "SD" dog tag off of the collar. I knew when I put it on her the first time, she would probably pull on it enough that I would have to reattach it eventually. Well the felt stretched quite a bit before it separated at the collar and disconnected completely. I had some thin yellow grosgrain hair ribbon and I made a new loop with it and attached it back onto the collar.(I have poor sewing skills, this was done with needle and thread, easy and fast) This way it won't come off again. Couldn't tell I had made the repair/ upgrade and my girl could has been dressing up as Scooby Doo since, with no problem.I don't fault the costume for this small issue. Kids are destructive, especially 2 year olds. My poor leather couch has suffered damage, but I don't fault the couch maker. Kids will be kids. This problem is easy to fix! Leather couch, not as fortunate.The other costumes I've seen were of much lower quality and left a lot to be desired. This one is worth springing the extra dollars on, especially if you think your little one will use it more than just Halloween night. Honestly I think my daughter could be Scooby next Halloween if she wanted. Very satisfied overall with this purchase!

I bought this for my 4 year old Scooby fanatic as her Halloween costume this year and she loved it so much that she continues to wear it around the house. The costume is made of very soft material and is high quality, especially considering how cheaply made most of the costumes on the market are these days. I was amazed at how nice it really is. The hood features Scooby's face on the top and Scooby's collar has velcro on the back and once closed, it secures the hood onto your child's head. The feet of the costume are open on the bottom with elastic straps to fit around the child's shoes so the feet won't get all scuffed up as he/she is trick or treating.I bought the medium size based on other people's reviews that it is cut small. My daughter is about 42" tall and according to the sizing chart in the item photo, a small should've fit her, but I purchased the medium just in case (intended for heights between 50-54" tall) and was so happy I did. It was a little big on her and some of the fabric bunched a little above the feet, but it's better to be a bit big than too small. Even though it was a little big, it didn't drag on the ground at all and it kept her warm while trick or treating on a chilly night. We love this costume and highly recommend it, just go up one size from what it says would fit your child.

Scooby custom fitted my daughter good. The quality is good. We was able to pass it down to my younger daughter. It was thick enough so she didn't need to wear a coat.

I was very disappointed in this item. It is absolutely not what is advertised in the picture. Not only does it NOT look like scooby-doo, it is very cheaply made. The sizes run extremely small. I ordered a size 4-6 and my 4 year old that wears 4t pants and 5t shirts, he tried it on and it looked like a 3T rather than a 4-6. I was not impressed by any part of this item. I did receive a refund, however the $12.44 that I had to pay to ship it back, was not refunded. So because they falsely advertised this item, I am out $12.44. It shouldn't have cost me anything, considering the sizes were way off and the item was not even close to what the picture is showing. I can't believe these company's are able to use a picture that isn't what they are selling. They should have to take a picture of the exact item, instead of use a picture of what they tried sew up themselves. It honestly looked like someone pulled out their sewing machine from home and used a cheap, very thin, fleece semi-look alike material and some felt and attempted to make a scooby-doo costume. Scooby had not chin or mouth and under the nose there was pieces of thread coming loose where someone stuffed the head and hand sewed it shut. The poor scooby head looked like a rat or a daschund (except daschund's are cuter.)

The costume is great! The zipper comes up to top of neck and the Velcro connects covers the zipper. I was worried it would aggravate him. It didn’t. He loves it:)
