Average, You may go for it.
This had been my favorite pen from childhood. Writes good, flow is smooth. But recently quality has dropped, earlier it was metallic hence the name. Now its mostly plastic with metalic coating. If you are to buy this for feel, DON'T. You may go for it for smoothness, it being a ball pen.
