My Mom hates having cat furniture everywhere, but even this piece is something she loves. It is understated and blends with the real wood furniture. The cats fight over it, and there is always someone in it. Sturdy and easy to assemble.

First off, the double Necoichi bowl does not come in extra large. My cats are15 pounds each and my Ragdoll. Is a long cat. The reviews on the single bowl have been fantastic and it seems most cats love it. I bought the new double bowl thinking both cats wouldn’t have to fight over it. Neither one has tried to even set a foot on it. I have put it in different locations, next to windows, next to furniture. They will not try it out. I thought of picking the cats up and setting them on it, but my experience is doing this doesn’t work, even with beds. They hop right out. I am very disappointed because this was a fairly expensive purchase and it sits in a corner next to our bedroom window as an unused piece of cat furniture. My suggestion for these cat bed companies is to consider larger cats and offer larger pieces of furniture and bedding. It was difficult rating this because they haven’t tried it out. I will say it was easily assembled and seems prey sturdy. Waste of money for me.I am writing an update to give the Necoichi bowl 4 stars After discovering that Simon would go in the bottom level after I added some dry catnip flakes. He has slept in I three times now but prefers sleeping on the floor next to it. My main concern is that it is not large enough for large breed cats like Ragdolls and Maine Coons. He does not like the top level.Well, give a cat time to make up his mind. Simon now curls up on the bottom most of the time and has figured out how to get to the top level. When it sits on carpet it is very wobbly as he tries to get on it. I have my recliner chair to stabilize it between the wall and the chair. He jumps up on my chair and walks right over to the top level. This is his favorite place to sleep. My other cat won’t have anything to do with it.

This cat bed is very nice looking. The wooden frame is beautiful. My cat got right in it. He’s a large cat and he fit perfectly in it. I think I am going to continue to order the refill inserts for this when we need to. It’s very sturdy. He scratched immediately on the cardboard insert and I know he’s going to love this.

We initially bought one, but as you can see, needed two.These are very popular with all three of our cats. The third cat uses it at night to scout night visitors, while these two sleep in our bed.

My cats LOVE this!!! I bought 2 in fact. They "use it" for scratching...they really do. They also like sleeping on it, and they like climbing it, and using it for staging with regard to "pouncing." They play on it!!!And,, I LOVE it because I was looking for something that looked more like regular furniture for my office. But, it turned out to be such a hit that I bought the second one for the livingroom because it looks nice with our "people furniture." We do have a regular kitty tower in the corner of the livingroom out of the way, but this way they can sit with us on their own furniture, and it looks great. I LOVE IT, AND THEY LOVE IT, and that's what you really need to know. It's "lightweight," and easy to move around. It's just "PURRRRRFECT." Great design, and WICKED EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, TOO!!!

My cat doesn't care for boxes, stands with cubbies or any of those typical 'fits it sits' style cat furniture. He LOVES this thing. The big bowl shape on top and on the bottom lets him loung comfortably while also being able to see me and the goings on around him. He gives it a thorough scratch through the day and swaps between using the top and bottom equally. I gave this to him before a 2 week trip (when he would have his first ever cat sitter experience) and every daily video update from the sitter showed him happily chilling in this cat bed/scratcher/tower. Highly recommend :] Now please make this in some fun colors too

I bought this for my cat based on a Youtube suggestion by Floppy Cats. She has Ragdoll cats, which can be quite large. I have one as well I ordered the extra large size for him and the size is perfect for him. He is 18 pounds for comparison. For smaller cats, the extra large size may be too big. And the best part is that he likes it! He tends to be very picky with what he likes and I’m glad that I bought this! I highly recommend this to you and your cats!The only negative is that when I first received the product, a portion of the bottom ripped. It got stuck on the tape that I was pulling off. It is minor and does not affect the sturdiness of the product.

I ordered 1 for each of our 2 cats. First, it is surprisingly sturdy, considering the exterior ring is made of cardboard. You push the bed part down to create a bowl effect. This area is also a scratcher. The bowl area can be flipped over to use after the first surface wears out.The instant I placed the beds under our Christmas tree, both boys crawled in them. In fact, Louie tried to claim both beds, as shown🤣. They love these beds! The only criticism is that the beds shouldbe larger, by at least 3” in diameter. We have Ragdoll cats weighing 14.5 and 12.5 pounds and both hang off the sides no matter how they lie.I believe the price is a bit high, even though they are attractive. I got ones with the darker finish to better coordinate with our decor.

My cat adores cardboard and she absolutely loved this plus its is not super invasive, it's easy to assemble and it looks good like a nice piece of actual furniture, first time I get a cat bed that my cat actually uses

Purchased this in early November for my son's Russian Blue Cat. It's used all the time & still looks great. One of her fav places to hang out
