I recently bought the Levoit OasisMist 450S Smart Humidifier, and it has honestly changed our lives—especially for my daughter. She used to get sick often during the winter with constant coughing and congestion at night. Since using this humidifier, she’s not feeling nearly as sick anymore, and her nighttime congestion has improved dramatically. It even helps reduce her cough and cold symptoms within just one night. I was blown away by how fast it worked.What I Love:• Warm & Cool Mist: We mostly use the warm mist at night, and it’s been amazing for clearing up stuffy noses. The cool mist is great during the day or in warmer weather.• Smart Controls: I use the VeSync app to control everything from my phone. I can check humidity levels, set timers, or just adjust the mist level without getting up.• Auto Mode: This is one of my favorite features—it senses the room’s humidity and adjusts automatically, so I don’t have to think about it.• Large Tank & Top Fill: The 4.5L tank lasts through the night and then some. Top-filling is super convenient, and it’s easy to clean.• Quiet Operation: It runs silently, so it doesn’t disturb my daughter’s sleep at all.• Aromatherapy Option: I add a couple of drops of lavender oil at bedtime, and it helps create a calm, spa-like vibe in her room. We use the aroma box regularly, and when my daughter is sick, I put Vicks drops on aroma pad and place it near the nozzle. It works like a charm to open up her airways and ease her breathing overnight.Final Thoughts:If your kids struggle with winter colds, coughs, or nighttime stuffiness, I highly recommend this humidifier. It made a noticeable difference after just one night, and it’s now part of our daily routine. Levoit really nailed it with the OasisMist 450S—worth every penny!

This works great. Does a great job humidifying a large size room. Stonger than expected. Very easy to fill with water. Very easy to clean. Extremely quiet. The app function is easy to use and a great addition. Warm and cold mist function are a great option.

Best humidifier I have found. Tried others but this one is the best. Easy to fill and operate. It has different settings. Cool or warm steam. The steam comes out in two heavy streams but can be adjusted to a lighter stream. Works good and fast to put some humidity in a larger room to help stuffy noses or congestion. I highly recommend.

PROS:* Nice large size. I poured in a whole gallon of distilled water and there was still room left in the reservoir.* The water reservoir comes out completely for cleaning and has a handle for easy carrying.* The controls are simple, including both cool and warm mist options, a timer, a sleep function, and several options for rate.* The smart app is convenient if you want to control multiple units in various parts of the house, and there is a scheduling feature.* There are two adjustable nozzles.* Nice, quiet operation.CONS:* I chose this model pver some others for its built-in hygrometer, but it’s highly inaccurate. I tested it against three other hygrometers, moving them every 15 minutes for an hour. All three read 35–36%, while this unit showed 59%. Even without these visual comparisons, the air didn’t feel even close to as humid as the reading suggested.* Since I have other hygrometers, the built-in one doesn't need to be precise. However, without it, the app is useful only as a remote control. The app tracks humidity over time, but its reports are meaningless without accurate readings from the machine.* There is a little side door with a pad for essential oils, but I'm not sure much, if any, of the EOs get into the mist. I couldn't smell them at all.

I ABSOLUTELY and without a doubt love this "Smart" Humidifier. It was not easy to put together the first time and you might have to go online and find a video or pdf user manual to help. Otherwise, well worth the money. Levoit is the way to go. QUIET. When it feels dry in my room I say, "Alexa, turn on humidifier". It measures the amount of humidity in your room and will automatically shut off when it reaches a certain level of moisture in the air. I love love love that it has a Sleep Mode. I suggest using distilled water in the tank. No need to fill up the tank; half way will do.

It is programmable! We run it 16 hours a day (there’s another two that run in other rooms 24/7). This lets us set it to auto humidity AND a schedule, HUGE upgrade from the step down.

Got this because I have vary dry skin, works great helps with air quality too, would recommend to anyone with skin issues or breathing issues, do not use tap water
