Bought this for my post-stroke 101 year old mother in late 2022. She's still living and so is the belt. Don't know what I'd have done without it. My only criticism, and it is insignificant in the overall scheme of things, is that the belt is a bit difficult to adjust, occasionally slipping toward "wider" circumference (when being folded to store, not when being worn). Otherwise, this product is a 6+*. If you need to support and assist elderly or disabled individuals do, yourself a favor and buy one -- or more -- of these gait belts.

This Gate belt has helped tremendously with transfers. I will buy again. Great invention.

I use this for helping my Mother get around, I would of gave this a 5 out of 5 but it tends to ride up on her, perhaps a rubber backing would help, however this is far better than the walking belt provided by the rehab clinic as loops are in a natural positions and make it easy to grab onto, it is also wider so it doesn't dig in like the walking gait belts.

Bought this to help get my disabled husband up off the floor when he falls. I works great and I can avoid pulling on his fragile arms for fear of fracturing them when getting him up.Seems well made and durable so far.

Fabulous!! So comfortable. Extra support. Made exceptionally well. All my dad's pt coaches think this belt is the bees knees. All care givers said it was super functional easy to use and everyone should use this kind. I bought this for my dad after he broke his hip and compared to standard belts he said he really liked it. It gave him more security and us too. The multiple handles are a God sent.

This product was purchased because of multiple handles which are quite convenient for ambulation. However, the description provided by the company saying "non-slip" is a misnomer. The belt has loosened on multiple occasions, even after tying an additional, fairly sturdy knot in the belt.

For someone with Parkinsons or someone that needs assistance this is very helpful. It's easy to put on and has more than plenty of strap for easy waist size adjusting. It is also much easier to help someone get up pulling on the belt than pulling on their arms.

So much better than the conventional gate belt! Safer doesn't ride up at all the handles are perfect to grab. Toss out your old one and get one of these.
