Alpine Amp installed in a 1965 Mustang
Worked as advertised. As the title indicates, I installed it in the trunk of a 1965 Mustang. While it is only driving a dual center dash speaker(factory location) and some aftermarket kick panels with 6.5 inch speakers, it definitely added some oomph. to a Retro Sound head unit. Trying to keep a stock look, will need to add a powered subwoofer at this point, maybe under the seat.

Excellent sound
This amp sounds great! Pushing my mids and highs effortlessly. I have the gains about a quarter turned up, and it’s loud enough and crystal clear. Will be buying an Alpine mono amp soon . Love the products

Great value for Alpine sound
Great product and performance for a fantastic price point. Over performs specs @ correct voltage. Doesn't seem to like high humidity climate. I've noticed mine cut out when humidity is extremely high, & no it's not in a boat. It's installed in a completely dry sealed, garage kept vehicle. Rain, heavy fog, or very high humidity causes temporary interruption of function. And yes, it was Professionally installed by Alpine dealer.

If you're looking at this and it's available (for $140) buy it! It's class A-B so it has a more natural sound than digital amps. 50x4 seems to be a conservative rating as this powers my components and a 12" sub with ease. Gets HOT when pushed. Clean, clean, clean sound when used properly. This price is unbelievable. Considering buying another just to have...

I room the amp out of the box and started wiring it up! While in screwing the battery hook up the screw and crush plate fall out and do not go back in! Further looking I found that the amps internal wire harness was already cooked as if my what said to be new amp was already blown up before it was in my own hands!
