Game changer! Makes you wanna practice more!
My guitar instructor has one of this. He's had it for ages and I was always interested in getting one, but the fact that there are several sizes deterred me. What if I get the wrong size and have to go through the process of exchanging? It's a pain... So it took me years of struggling with a foot rest (which always makes you change positions) until I gave up. First I purchased a different type of support but it didn't work out, so in the end I got this cushion and never looked back. Never regretted. It's the best choice I've made. There are no faults to this cushion; it fits the knee perfectly and won't slide because the area that rests on your knee is textured and stays put. It comes with a nice, convenient pouch that can be attached to a gig bag, and thus makes it portable. And finally, it still allows for personal choices in terms of guitar angle, but it won't make playing difficult of uncomfortable. In fact, I've experienced the opposite. Granted, there are metal supports around that get attached to the guitar, can be easily extended and work like magic, but they also may leave marks in the finish and can come off. This one has all the advantages of the attachable stands, and none of the shortcomings, so it's the best possible choice. Practicing is now more pleasant, less tiring and more rewarding, and I am happy that even if it took me a long time, I ended purchasing this product. It's worth every penny.

Not great at staying in place, the "adjustable" strap is tiny
It kind of works for what you need it to, only problem is it doesn't really secure in place properly, and the strap definitely not adjustable, it's a short elastic band on each side and totally cuts off circulation if you have bigger thighs. It might be usable if I can find an extension clip of some kind, but otherwise, not a great purchase for the cost.

Pleased
not much to it, but it works. it is a nice alternative to foot rest. it raises guitar to comfortable level - i've used in on right leg with thicker cushion portion pushed well to left. that keep guitar from being too high. most surprising to me is the effectiveness of the fabric strip on bottom which keeps cushion from slipping. it is only an inch or inch and a half wide, but it works. agree with other reviewers that this provides relief from hip discomfort and allows feet to be comfortably flat on floor. overall pleased with this. i expect continued use.

Did not raise my guitar high enough for my playing position
Nothing wrong with the product; but if you have short little legs and you like your classical guitar positioned high, this won't work for you. If only it could raise a couple inches higher, it would have been ideal for me, rather than continuing to use a footstool (I don't want to attach an A-frame or any such device onto my guitars). So I had to return it, but only because it just wasn't big enough/didn't raise guitar high enough for me. YMMV

Cool product!
This is a really cool thing. The only thing I would change is to add more of the no-skid material and have two strips of it instead of two or just one larger strip other than that it's great.

Not very easy to use.
I used this cushion for about 6 months a finally gave up on it. It just moved around too much on my leg and on my guitar. Maybe if you used it with a foot rest it would work better, but the whole point is to avoid using a foot rest -- right? I ended up getting a De Oro classical guitar support, and I freakin love it. It is so simple and reliable and comfortable.

Puts the guitar in a good place
I didn't know what I would think of this before trying it. I have used a foot stool in the past, and have had no problem with them. My original idea was to buy a foot stool. I'm curious about how this will work over time, but for now it is working well.It has a foam rubber strip sewn on that prevents it from slipping on your leg, and it is contoured nicely for the leg, and the guitar.
