These little lights are so bright, the circular shape of the light allows for light to exude from all directions. They do need to be connected to a USB power adapter or any USB port honestly. It comes in a yellow tone as well as white light but the yellow is much warmer and softer while still providing the brightness white lights do.

Small, very bright. Almost too bright for certain areas. But love in my kitchen as night light in one of the usb outlets.

Great for car, wish it had an on/off switch - very bright light

Easy to use, no bells and whistles. Just plug them in to any USB A power source. No on/off, no dimmer, no photo cell, no color selection, just a very reliable easy light. Good for keeping in a backpack, purse, and glovebox for an emergency condition where an external cell phone battery is available. My daughter was in mid-west storms last night when parts of the city lost power. Great light for her.

These are bright! The perfect nightlight. They also work well in my computer at night when I don't want a lamp on. They would be great to use in hotel rooms if you need a nightlight in the bathroom. They are as stated and I would purchase them again.

One failed after just a few minutes, with a flicker of one of the two leds under the plastic cover. Poor soldering job inside. And led quit too. Not worth fixing, of course. They’re super cheap and built to stay that way! :)

out of the box they are lousy. they are two warm white LEDs running in parallel being directly driven by the USB input. the whole assembly is friction fit so if you push it into a USB receptacle that's tight it will cause the transparent lid to pop off. Because its direct drive its screaming bright and creates alot of heat, because that heat has no where to go it heats the USB plug, which then damages the USB charger you are running it on. The fix was very easy, simply take the top off, file off the carbon short over the [perfectly solderable] inline resistance pad, then solder in a 100 ohm resistor of your choice, and voila.... now it runs 20mA at 5V. I carry these in my travel bag. Hotels don't have nightlights, but most of them will have complimentary USB charging sockets. So I plug them in when I'm staying the night. the LEDs survive long life, USB plug is cool to the touch. Life is good.

Great bright little lights.. no issues with heat so far, have left them overnight nice and bright

I bought these lights as night lights for travelling. It is small and easy to pack. It is also very bright, much brighter than I had expected. Only possible criticism is that there is no switch. You have to unplug it to turn it off.

Quite bright, these are cool white. Unlike similar attachments that I have, these run very very cool which is a great advantage. My intention was to use it as a 'comfort' light while in hospital, just to have some light so I could find things in the dark. Turns out to be an unobtrusive night light. And oddly, while I was in, my son was using one at home plugged into a USB power wart on the wall, as a night light. Because they run so cool, I think it's safe to put some sort of reflector or piece of paper/card in front if the glare is too much.
