The One and Only
Yeshua haMashiach is who it is all about and He brings us to the precipice to take the leap of faith, to take up our cross and die daily to the flesh so we can be new in Jesus in us forever! Kneel at the cross....

Great book--short. Life changing message and plan.....
This small book should be required reading for every Christian.I've been a Christian for 30 years. I went to church, prayed, read the bible and sought the Lord for direction in my life.A friend gave me this book some time ago. I began reading it the other day (it's very short).Wow, what a book!86 small pages that are changing my life.I've suffered from severe condemnation nearly all my life. I was familiar with the word and related scripture, but I never understood what condemnation looked life in someone's life until I read this book. I mean, how does it play out daily? Condemnation destroyed my life and robbed me of my joy--even though Jesus released me from it on day one--I even memorized the verse; There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.........Great, but somehow the dots never connected in a way with that allowed me to understand what condemnation looks like in everyday life.I hope I can learn what it really means to make the cross the true center of my life and allow it free me of my chains daily.I can only imagine the results if every Christian really understood the meaning of the cross so easily conveyed in this short read. It's not only about condemnation--but that had the greatest impact for me personally.Just my two cents........

Makes for a great resource for discipleship
This short book is great for discipleship. I've used it many times and generated great conversations through the reading. Anyone who has attempted to get people to read books for discipleship knows how difficult that is. This book is small, and it's easy to read. But it's packed with great and practical content for new or mature believers.

Great reminder of keeping the first thing first
Remembering what God has done in my life daily helps in all aspects of my Christian walk. While the work of the cross is done, the reality of the measures God took to bring me into a relationship with Him should remain clear and strong in my mind. This book is a great reminder of the power the cross should continue to have in our luves.

A Crucial Reminder Of The Truth Of The Gospel
I can't say anything about this book that hasn't already been said in numerous reviews here, but I'll add my voice to the chorus- this is a refreshing, re-centering book.Short, ideal for meditation and rereading, and terrifically practical. If you don't find something here to actively help you to see Jesus Christ and yourself differently, it's likely because you don't want to.I can state that God is using this book to change me, and to remind me of the plain, simple truth of the Gospel- that Jesus came to save sinners, which means me. Blindingly good.

A book to read again and again
This book starts out with an inspiring portrayal of Timothy reading the letter that Paul wrote to him from prison. This letter didn't hold a new profound truth to get Timothy through the tough days ahead, but a reminder of what had already been done. The point being that we don't need a new revelation to get us through, we simply need to remember what Christ has already done for us - because it is enough. We need to remember it daily and center our lives upon in, and that's exactly what this small book will help you do. It's short enough that you might possibly be able to finish it in an hour or two of uninterrupted reading time, however I moved through it much slower to soak in all of its goodness. Either way, I highly recommend "The Cross Centered Life" by C.J. Mahaney and will probably be quoting it for many years to come.

How do I have joy?
This book will help you have joy in what CHrist has done instead of in your own performance. There is a difference between justification and sanctification. When I sin explicitly and incredibly against my LORD, do I run to the cross> Do I run to God and rejoice in how Christ has saved a wicked sinner like me? Do I "re-repent and re-believe the gospel?"CJ will help you with this book. I have this one and "The Gospel Primer" (Milton Vincent? close by so I can return. They are like friends, exhorting and comforting me when I want to lose hope in Christ.I hope this book will encourage to to keep following/obeying Christ in your walk, but we must keep coming back to "how was I saved? it wasnt me that saved me, it was Christ!"

Recommend!!!
I’ve been wanting to read this book ever since I read The Gospel Prime by Milton Vincent. I am glad I finally have. This book is a reminder of what the cross of Christ, the gospel is for those who have been saved. What is it to us now. We never leave the gospel behind. Are saved by God’s grace and love by his grace alone as well. I recommend this for every believer, new and old. Weak and strong.

Des bases importantes
Ce livre, très (très) rapide à lire pose des bases importantes. Mais on n'y trouvera pas d'éclairage particulier sur des vérités qui restent fondamentales.
