Great recipes, design, and set-up to the book. It has recipes from Ghibli movies I haven’t heard of until I looked through the book! Can’t wait to try the recipes with the movie they’re inspired by!

My wife is a studio ghibli nut and also a very good baker (used to be professional baker) but she isn't as strong on the cooking front as she is on the baking front. I'm really a much better cook than she is. To be fair, I've had decades of practice on her because she never really tried to cook for anyone that much until we started our family. That being said, she wanted to start a cookbook of stuff to pass down to our daughter but she really didn't have a place to start. Knowing how much she adores studio ghibli, I got her this cook book to help get her creative juices flowing. She absolutely loves it and talked a lot about how there's so many things in it that she remembers wanting to eat from the films and how she wished she knew what they were etc. Well, now she does. For its cost it's a bang up book. Highly recommend to any fans. Especially because it's hard cover too which is even nicer.

Honestly, blown away with how beautiful this book is, I wish I took a photo of it before gifting it! I think they fixed the product error I saw other reviews having about the spelling error, the one I had was just fine. The hard cover itself was beautiful with the foil embossing on it, the pages were of a good thickness, could probably handle a good flip through. The book itself had a good photo to writing ratio, with nice visuals that would make any Ghibli fan happy.

Its cute but quality could be better. The characters aren't detailed enough and sometimes look funny.

When I saw it I had to have it. A book for people that are true fans of Studio Ghibli ! It is amazingly well crafted and the images are just so beautiful. One of my favourite cookbooks!!!!
