I got professional help to install it.
This replaced a wall unit like they use in hotel rooms. It took up wall space that I needed for the black dresser. The old unit was loud and drowned out the tv. This one is quiet and efficient. I love it!

Stopped working after 2 months
Worked great at first but then stopped cooling. Seems to be stuck in heat mode. Not happy

I love the product until you have a problem
This product worked great we bought it and had it installed in December of 2016. The warranty said that we had a 5 year warranty on parts. We just had an E6 error message so we called the certified Gree Dealer to come and see what was the issue. When they looked at it the told us we need to change out the electrical board in the condenser. We knew we were under warranty so we were not worried. Well Gree tells them that the date of manufacturing is 2014 so it is not under warranty. We didn't even have the new construction on the addition of the house until Dec. of 2016. We bought it brand new and installed. Gree will not honor the warranty so I would never buy Gree anything going forward! They should honor a warranty! I don't care when it was manufactured and neither should they. The product hadn't even started to be used until we installed it in Dec. 2016. This is BS and this company sucks if that is how they are going to do business.
