Quality control issue
While this little box was solidly built and not really expensive, it had some workmanship flaws. The one side panel was a completely different stain color than the rest of the box. Also, the wood where the lid hinges were fastened was very rough and not finished smoothly. It was meant to be a gift but I had to return it.

Looks a little burned in one spot
There is a very dark almost black on the scroll work on the top of the box. It looks like the lazer cutter stayed to long in one place. Be sure to order this early if it’s a gift so you can check out the workmanship

Very nice box, just smaller than I expected.
The box was smaller than I had anticipated however the craftsmanship and overall appearance of the box is very nice.

The boxes were nice. The only issue is that the outside border is missing on both boxes. Only the center emblem is there. I need for Christmas gifts so will not return.
