Lord Ganesh 43" X 30" Tapestry

This is a $10 "tapestry." Be realistic in your expectations. For $10, I think that this is fantastic. It looks like something I would have bought off a street vendor if I was on a trip and I freaking LOVE it! It also has the little mouse which is very important to me. I love the gold sequins and the way the fabric is dyed. This is for my workshop so it's going to eventually be covered in sawdust and metal dust, so for my use, this is wonderful!

It's so pretty! It's nice and big and has golden sequence sewn onto it. It is thin, but I never expected it to be thicker. I mean, seriously, It's pretty cheap. The edges are a little frayed, but it's a really quick fix if it bothers me that much. It gives it a cool unrefined look. Plus, it came earlier than I expected it to. I haven't even gotten the Amazon Email saying my package has been delivered. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but I got it. I'm going to have to iron it though. So bottom line, yes, it's not perfect. The edges are unrefined and it's thin and creased. However, It's big, pretty, shiny, and it's what I expected to get for the price. It sounds like this isn't a very good review, but I really do like it. I never write reviews, (I'm sure you've heard that one before) so it must've done something to make me write one. Right?

This is a very nice thin printed cotton tapestry. Please don't think you are getting a woven cloth with an image intertwined/woven in the fabric. This is a very thin black silkscreen with sequin details. It is very pretty. I have ordered several tapestries from this seller before and they have all been wonderful. I'm not so exited about this Ganesh tapestry though. Although it's nice it is not of the same quality that I have received from this seller before. I have gotten a Shiva, Laxmi and others and they have exquisite. This one not so much. The image is not as crisp and the material is thinner than the others-if that's possible-they are already tissue paper thin. But for the price it's still a great deal. Ganesh is my favorite deity, so I guess I should spend a little more money on my next one. Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful piece and the price can't be beat. Just not up to the standards of the other pieces that the seller offers. Great item, fantastic price and very quick shipping from India. Good job!

Living in the yoga and spiritual mecca of north county San Diego, I am witness to an abundance of spiritual tapestries, statues, and all manner of other spiritual artifacts. Our cost of living is high and so ar the prices on these types of spiritual gifts. So, I was skeptical of what I could receive for this significantly low priced tapestry. In short, it is not expensively made (as expected by the price), but it does NOT look cheap at all. And it is lovely. The photos do not do justice to the radiance of the gold and the vividness of the color. It is the bright spot of my office, where I sit to create, write and manifest wealth. You will not be disappointed. P.S. The wrinkles fell out after about two weeks. I wasn't willing to take a chance on steaming.

I absolutely love this! Nevertheless, I thought I'd add a few caveats for those with high expectations. I deducted one star from the rating because it's not a tapestry; it's a print on inexpensive, poor-quality cotton, and the edges are raw and uneven, not finished in any way. The colors are garish, not rich-looking as in the illustration, and it's "enhanced" with sequins, which somewhat raise the kitsch factor (not necessarily a bad thing). If I hadn't had to pay the extra shipping costs, I might still think it was worth the money. I hope I'll never have to wash it, because it will probably fall apart. That said, I love it anyway and am going to keep it. I'll have to find some complimentary braid, decorative ribbon, or coordinating fabric to edge the sides and create hanging channels at the top and bottom, but for now I've just pinned it up on a door where I can enjoy it frequently as I pass by. The bright colors and sparkles are fun, even if they aren't quite what I expected, and the expression on the image's face is serene and beautiful. It makes me smile whenever I look at it. The fabric and embellishment add texture and interest, but I'd advise anyone who might be put off by the drawbacks I've mentioned to look for a poster instead.

Soooo much beautiful than I was expecting. Didn’t notice there was some blinks and put it in the washer and drier... Guess what? Everything perfect, colours and gold handcrafted gold embellishment. beautiful! And the delivery was fast, even coming from India. Thanks the vendor and Amazon:)

Absolutely love this tapestry! The picture and quality is great, very happy I purchased it.

Was supposed to arrive between May 26-June 15. Arrived on May 12th! Quick shipping from India. The tapestry is vibrant and beautiful and, unbeknownst to me when I ordered it, it is embellished with sequins. Love this item!

This was even prettier than in the picture. I was surprised and love all the shiny sequins! It now is up on a wall.
