American Made Terracotta Pottery Kitchen Spoon Rest, Blackbird Motif

Large & well made. My brother loves black birds & this is perfect. I ordered two more for my sister & myself it was so cute!! Black birds are a running joke in our family so the meaning we know behind it was perfect. These are adorable. Can’t wait to look at other items from this company of handmade products.

I don’t think I own anything as beautiful and functional as these two. I wanted to add some warmth to my home palette and these were perfect.

For a long time I've wanted a spoon rest for my kitchen but couldn't find one I'd be happy with sitting on my counter. I have Talavera tiles in terra cotta and black and cream on my backsplash, so other Talavera spoon rests didn't look good as most of them are in bright colors. This cute blackbird spoon rest is perfect. It's a nice handmade folk-art style in the right colors. I also really like that is does NOT have a length for the handle of a spoon to rest on because those are never the right length anyway. In a word: IDEAL!
