I got a long dining room table and six chairs from my parents when they upgraded the one in their home. The cherry oak finish went with nothing in my home so I decided to paint it (much to my husbands amusement as im not crafty). I was worried the jar would be too small and almost ordered two. Glad I stuck to ordering just one first! I did the whole table and all the chairs and there is still paint left for me to paint other things. It was so easy- you just paint on! and the results are great. I love the deep brown color and matte look. It also drys really quick! Highly recommend this paint.

I am a big fan of this paint! Great chalk paint with a TON of colors to choose from! It is easy to work with when adding layers of different colors for special effects like driftwood or distressing. Arrived super fast too!

This paint is ridiculous. I don't leave reviews very often, but this paint is amazing. Professional level results for the average DIY/weekend warrior.If you are looking for a creamy, matte, velvety finish, this is the paint for you.I used "Lava Cake" for a cabinet I built to match the rest of my "espresso" furniture/cabinets. I am in NO WAY a pro carpenter/painter. By any stretch of the imagination.VERY pleased with the results. Super easy to apply, water based so clean up is easy, and doesn't run at all. The 32oz bottle will go a LONG way, so keep that in mind.Can not recommend enough. See pics (not the best quality shots - but you'll get the idea).

Excellent! I truly enjoy the rich color and thickness on this 50 plus year old piece. I did sand a little and I have to do some more clean up but the color and ease of use were better than expected. I used paint remover years ago and just never got around to finishing so it had a layer of loose flaking paint I had to remove.

Wow! This is a beautiful dark brown chalk paint. This was my first purchase of chalky chicks paint and I was extremely pleased. It is my new favorite chalk paint. This was my first DAY furniture painting project. Painted my headboard and it turned out beautifully. I did two coats and finished with a matte polyurethane.
