My new, best, friend!
I'm married to a snorer. It hasn't always been this way. It has progressed with age I suppose. I try to fall asleep in our own bed but most nights, I end up in the guest bed which quite frankly, is a dynamite nights sleep. I have tried ALL the other brands of ear plugs from foam, to the putty, to the black ones with the little ring. I even gave my pair of shop headphones a whirl and they didn't work at all! We had a vacation planned where our hotel stay was in one room. Thankfully, there were two, Queen beds. I took my black ear plugs with the little ring. They worked really well however, after three nights of wearing them, my inner ear was in pain. That little black ring is not comfortable for a side sleeper like me. I came home and ordered these ear plugs. I'm not a fan of wearing them nightly, but I wanted to give them a try to see how comfortable they were. After all ... there will be other travel nights in hotel rooms and I wanted to find something comfortable to wear. These fit the bill ... seriously! They do not cancel out 100% of the noise, but they do muffle it enough that I can sleep much more comfortably. Having another bed all to myself helps a lot too. They are easy to insert and take out and they are comfortable ... well as comfortable as an ear plug can be. If you're married to a snorer too ... there is help. These ear plugs are comfortable and effective. You deserve a good nights sleep. Give these a whirl.

Easy on the ear and block noise
Soft in the ear and it blocks 80% of the noise. They come with a carrying case for easy travel and very comfortable when sleeping with quick way to realse them from your ear. Please note: There is no ear plugs that blocks 100% of the noise. These are awesome in the ear.

Extremely dangerous! These get stuck in your ears!
Don't try these even once! I'd read through the reviews carefully and decided to try these even though there were a handful of reviews where people said they had to go the ENT or emergency room because these got stuck in their ears. Well, I should have listened to them! I nearly became one of them! To be safe, I decided to try inserting and removing the plugs at least once before using them overnight. All I did was insert one of the plugs into my right ear, making sure the tab on the outside was still easily accessible. Well, THE PAIN FROM TRYING TO PULL IT OUT WAS EXCRUCIATING. It was stuck, even though I hadn't even pushed it in that far. Simply pulling the tab on the outside didn't work, I had to push on the back of my ear to try to break the seal. The plug kept wanting to go further into my ear instead of coming out of it. Still, I kept pushing on my ear and pulling on the plug, and despite excruciating pain, was eventually able to get it out. Half an hour later, my ear is still sore and I'm worried I may have damaged my eardrum. So yeah, don't try these! You've got a good chance of ending up in the ER! It's not worth the risk!

I wear these every night
I wear these every night, I started wearing ear plugs to sleep a few years ago and tried many options. I settled on these because they are the best. They really do dampen sound, so I don’t hear the cat scratching at the door, dogs barking in the night, and my husband’s snoring is dampened to a soft noise. They are well made and I’ve never received a pair that is poor quality. I am glad they come in different sizes because The larger ones hurt my ears. They usually stay in place, I have had them fall out every now and then (over the years) but if you put them in correctly and completely they stay in place. I am frustrated by the fact that one pair is $16, two pair (different sizes) are $18 - so it’s a great value! Except, I just need one size. To get one size, I have to pay $32 for two pair. Why not just make a twin pack by size if you are willing to sell two-packs at a reduced price?

Works good for short term use.
I have been using these ear plugs for a couple of months now, and I was very happy with them at first. I have to sleep with ear plugs every night, or I will be waken up at the slightest noise, then be unable to fall back asleep. These were much quicker and easier to get in than the traditional foam plugs I have been using for several years, and they worked just as well if not better at blocking the sound, however after about 2 months of using them they started to hurt my inner ears. Though the material is still soft after wearing these for extended periods, I had to switch back to the foam plugs because I was waking up with bad pain in my ears and jaw that lasted for an hour or so after waking up. I do not believe this is a manufacturing issue or flaw, I just think these are only meant to be worn a certain amount of times. They did work very well, and as long as you put them in so that the "pull tab" is accessible, they are also easy to pull out as well. Mine now seem to be shaped in an oblong rather than oval shape like they were when they were new. And again, I believe these stated that they were good for "hundreds of uses", but at the price point of over $20 ( for a pair of regular size, and also small size included), I think they should last longer than a couple of months. ($20 of foam ear plugs lasts me much longer than 2 months). The material they are made from is very soft and flexible, they are a very good design, and they are super simple to put in. May be a better option for someone that doesn't use them constantly like I do, but for me they didn't last long enough. I do think these would be excellent for someone that only needs to wear them for a few hrs at a time, or only on some nights. For me, wearing them every night seemed to make them uncomfortable in what I believe is a premature period of time.

Shocked
I’m a city dweller in a warm climate so that means windows open 24/7. At my place this isn’t a problem since my apartment doesn’t get much street noise, but I’m currently staying at a friend’s that is on a VERY busy intersection and the night noise was killing me. The only ear plugs I’ve used in the past were foam ones, so when I searched for good reusable ones these came up as a two pack with different sizes - such a plus for people who haven’t used earplugs before. The smalls ended up fitting me great so I gave the M/L to my friend and they said they fit them perfectly! We both tried them out and HO-LEEEEEE. I don’t think I’ve ever slept so well! I’m a side and stomach sleeper and the first night I noticed the ear plugs but they were not uncomfortable or painful. Just different. Night 2 I didn’t notice them at all. The noise reduction is not 100% but it is massive - honestly I don’t think I’d want it to be any better because then it would be uncomfortably quiet. I can barely hear the cars with modified mufflers or the roosters screaming, definitely haven’t woken up startled by a single outside noise like I used to every couple hours. I’ve been washing them in the sink with hand soap in the morning hoping to prolong their life, but either way everything from cost to effectiveness these are a 10/10 for me AND my friend and I’ll be a repeat customer.

Great for side sleepers
I’ve tried several different earplugs for sleeping but none of them compare to these Alpine SleepDeep earplugs. I’ve been sleeping with these for several weeks and love these. They are very soft so it does not feel like there’s something pushing hard against my ear when I’m sleeping with my head against the pillow. They fit inside my ear just right. Pay attention to how to insert them. Since they are softer than other brands, I needed to push them in at a certain angle and with a little more pressure to ensure a good seal. The design of these also doesn’t put a lot of pressure inside my ear. I’ve had the Loop earplugs for a year and those put more pressure inside the ear which was not as comfortable as these. Comes in a small hard case to carry around so you don’t lose them. The noise reduction is comparable to the Loop ones if not better. These are reusable but since these are a softer material, I do expect these to potentially not last as long but I will have to see how these hold up in the long term. I felt like these were a fair price for the quality and usefulness of the item.

They hurt and are starting to fall apart from normal use
After wearing these for a year: they ain't great!! They are light weight, easy to put in and take out, easy to wash, and do a pretty good job of sound reduction. BUT, as a side sleeper they REALLY hurt my ears after a full night of sleep. This could be my ear anatomy, but I would think something this soft should flex better so I can only conclude it is the design. Also, though they certainly last longer than foam ear plugs, they do not stand up to daily gentle washing with mild soap. The tabs are starting to rip off and there is cracking all over, and yellow. Better than foam from an environmental standpoint, but don't expect these to last forever. Time to start a search for a new brand...
