Could not get to work
The reviews sounded great, but I am unable to get the device to work. When I went through the steps the indicator light turned off when the installation hit 10%. This happened multiple times. I have tried starting all over, and now I can not even get the indicator light to work at all.

I like it but it seems a little finicky. Finicky meaning it works perfect if you have almost perfect line of sight for wifi connection. Very convenient though and small enough to only cover one outlet.UpdateThis thing is crap. First I thought it was finicky with wifi connection. Now it won't connect at all. I tried to reset. And tried to delete it on my app and reconfigure. Now it won't connect at all. I can hear the relay open and shut multiple times but still won't connect at all. I'm annoyed.Can't use.

Buyers be where 50/50 chance failed over time
I bough the pair after a few week 1 next to the other wifi plug looses it connections even if you reconnect or move net to the Access Point..for me 50% is not good the is the second attempt with these devices the funny part the 1 that fails has a smile light connected.Buyers be where 50/50 chance failed over time I received end of Dec and now first week of Feb its failed .. not long life at all

Works mostly as advertised, if it stops working with Google ensure it isn't waiting on firmware upgrade in smartphone app
Don't recall having any trouble installing it, finding the device on my network, or integrating it with Google Home/Assistant.Works well with one caveat: When the firmware needs to be updated, Google Home/Google Assistant is no longer control the lights, and will simply fail to turn on/off the lights and no other clues or information is provided. The issue is that a firmware update is required. When this happens, you have to go in with the smartphone app, which will prompt you to upgrade the firmware. After that exercise, Google Home/Google Assistant will again be able to control your lights with voice commands.

It was purchased for the Timing Function
It was purchased for the "Timing Function - Timing Function, Schedule the smart Wi-Fi light control. You can set schedules for you lights and appliances. Using the free app, you can schedule a lamp to turn on at sunset, or keep your house comfortable by scheduling a fan to turn on at noon. " After installing the "Smart Life - Smart Living" App, the "Timing Function" is no where to be found. Can someone help?Update: Changed to 5 Stars.

Works great with google home
These are awesome they work great with Google home you just have to download the smart life app to set it up And with the smart life app you can turn the lights on / off from anywhere you have access to your phone not just at the house so very cool.. I have an older house so I actually had to replace the single box so be prepared if you have an older house you have to get a double gang box

Continually goes offline.
Many negative reviews have mentioned that these plugs go offline. That's what happened to mine. One of them went offline within two days. I thought it might have been a one time thing so I got it back online and the next day it was offline again. Happened a third time within a day.
