Reference Manual for ye Old Glock
As a gun owner, I firmly believe you should have some sort of reference manual for your firearm. Not only is it good to know the history of the firearm, it also covers technical data and values that could come in handy. I have owned several Glocks in my lifetime and still own a few, and while I will not say it is the firearm to rule them all the Glock is still a reliable weapon used by many nations in the world. And for good reason. This book contains everything from history of the Generations to current Gen 5. There is catalog years for certain serial number runs as well as history on each model to include parts, discontinued versions and unique variants. There were Glock models I never heard of or ones that were exclusive to LEO and military contracts. It is worth the price and while I am sure in a few years a third edition will be out, it is the latest at the moment. These books will be updated as time goes by, but for now, this edition has all that you need. Whether you are a Glock aficionado or just casually uses them for the job, this book is worth putting on the shelf. As a rule, and its mainly my rule, but one I think anyone could benefit from - always have a technical manual or reference book for every firearm you own. Just like you have a maintenance manual for your car, a gun is a tool. A bit of knowledge can save you money, especially now that gunsmithing is pretty expensive.

Tons of info
Lots of info. Really gets "into the weeds" when it comes to Glock pistols. I am enjoying reading this.

This is a great book, marred by endless typos.
I love this book. I've read it cover to cover, and still peruse it from time to time. I like the detailed history of Glock and the individual write-ups of all the models and variations. The photos are well done and prolific. I don't think anyone can read this and not learning something. The author is obviously a huge fan of Glock and sometimes his prose can sound a bit like an advertisement for Glock, but it's not overbearing by any means. What needs improvement: For the love of Pete, this is Volume 2, why, why, why did not the author, editor, publisher, anyone ever consider proofreading it? Honestly, it's typo after typo after typo. I don't think you can literally read more than a page to two without encountering one. It's honestly a bit off-putting. All the time spent on good prose and awesome photos and no one could be bothered doing a little QC. It doesn't ruin the book, of course, but it does bring it down a star in my opinion. Conclusion: If you want to know about Glocks (a lot about Glocks), this is a great book. I guarantee you'll learn something, and it's an enjoyable read. Just be aware that you'll encounter more typos than Carter has pills (as my Grandmother used to say).

Great Glock Book / Bible
I love this book which is a definite need if you’re a Glock fan. The author has provided images, models and history of each dating back to 1986. Included is a reference guide and a Glock model number decipher which is key to understanding the exact and factory shipped / included Glock options on each firearm as shipped from the factory. Also of importance are the model variations and first sequence serial numbers set(s) that Glock made for each model
