High Skill Level a Plus.
We do a lot of puzzles in our family, so we have a pretty high skill level, and mostly adults are working on them. I say that to give some context to the puzzle; it’s really hard. That is actually why I gave it 4 stars, it’s to that point where it is kind of frustratingly hard. It’s a great challenge, and if you’re someone who is an expert, this IS the puzzle for you. There are two main reasons for why it is hard:1) The puzzle piece shapes. Those who have done traditional puzzles usually will group like shapes together; as there are some standard shapes that come in a puzzle. However, this one is pretty random, and unique. I’ll include a picture for you. However, it takes away that element of the process that some people may use to help them figure out what piece goes where.2) The colors. Although there are ae lot of colors on the box, there are groupings of similar spots of color, with a large number of pieces. The white in the robe of Jesus, as well as the blue in the water, make it fairly difficult to figure out what goes where. Then, when combine issues #1, it makes it even harder. The colors in this puzzle are really vibrant, which is nice. The puzzle is a great puzzle, no issues, although the piece shapes are unique to me, they are really sturdy and fit together firmly. I admit, I’m in a love/hate relationship with a puzzle that has Jesus on it. It’s just so hard. I’m going to finish it, and it’s going to be wonderful, with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment, but just a heads up about what you’re getting yourself into.
