Tasty no-frills pod coffee at a fantastic price
I usually brew fresh ground beans on my home espresso and drip coffee machines (pour-over sometimes), so my personal standards can be high, but I’m not a snob and will use a keurig style machine once in a while if I’m in a hurry, or offer to guests (if that’s their preference). That said, these pods brew a great cup of coffee especially at the price point! It brewed with no issues, and smelled and tasted lovely- kind of nutty with no harsh bitterness or acidity. It’s strong enough to wake me up in the morning but not super dark which I like. I’d say it’s a medium roast. I could probably drink it black which is my preference and I did try a few sips like this, but I opted for a splash of cream and it was perfect paired with my morning breakfast (eggs and some banana bread; I imagine it would go awesome with a donut or pastry too). It tasted surprisingly fresh for a pod coffee. I’m a little worried about getting through all 200 pods quickly enough so I’ll have to see if they maintain the fresh taste well over time, but if you have a big household, own a business, etc and drink these frequently enough that shouldn’t be an issue. The package came quickly in a biggish box, and the pods were simply sitting loosely inside which is fine. They all seemed to be in good shape (no dents or rips). You can put them in your own organizer but I just chucked the whole thing in a cabinet under my coffee station since I have space. Overall, will this win coffee awards? Probably not, but it’s a great pod coffee at a fantastic price point if you like buying in bulk for a pretty good daily driver cup o’ joe.

Simply Gentle, but worth it!
Happy customer! I got the coffee earlier than I expected! Now, about the coffee itself: I honestly didn’t expect much especially it is light roasted, but this light roast surprised me. It has a mild boldness not too strong, not too bland just perfect for my morning routine. It’s smooth, has a nutty aroma, and no bitter aftertaste, which is a big win for me! I love the natural bitterness of the coffee, but I don’t enjoy when it the bitterness linger in your mouth. When it comes to freshness, I actually chewed on the ground coffee bean, I can tell it is fresh! In fact I didn’t use any sweetener to know if the coffee is good or not. And also it has no stinky old stock coffee smell! Another big plus, is, it’s non-acidic. Some coffee makes you acidic and this one, I am surprise because it didn’t do that unpleasant acidity. When it comes to the design for packaging, I’m sure the company can improve it, with vibrant colors. If you’re looking for a gentle, affordable, non-acidic, and great-tasting daily coffee, this is a fantastic choice. I’m already loving it and would definitely order again. You will lever regret buying this coffee. The name itself speaks volumes and fits its product! Day to day coffee donut blend premium! A coffee you can trust in your daily coffee routine! Now the caffeine content of this coffee is not bold,

Great taste
This Day to Day Donut Blend coffee tastes really good and smells great when it’s brewing. The flavor is smooth and not too strong, and it doesn’t have a bitter aftertaste, which I really like. Brewing it in my Keurig is quick and easy, and it comes out consistent and fresh every time. This is light roast as well as donut blend it’s amazingly good. The packaging is nice and sturdy, and the pods are easy to take out and use, plus the 200-count box lasts a long time. Overall, I’m very happy with this coffee and think it’s a great everyday choice for the price.

Tasty everyday coffee blend
I'm an avid coffee drinking (usually two cups per day) but Day to Day was a new brand for me. I really enjoyed this roast. It's light, and smooth so it pairs perfectly with a sweet treat. It's good enough to drink black but I prefer to add my favorite creamer in any coffee I drink and I really enjoyed it with the added flavor too. I also appreciate the 200 count K-Cup option. My husband and I drink one to two cups per day so buying pods in bigger quantities really helps our budget. Great flavor profile, smooth and perfect for the every day drinker. Will repurchase.

Inconsistent Pod Fills
UPDATE: 8/20/24-it turns out these pods have various amounts of coffee in them, hence one cup of “dishwater” and the next mediocre. I opened some used pods and sure enough, the fill level was all over the place. I’ll use them up by opening unused pods and dumping the coffee into my Keurig DIY pod. Will not buy this “budget” brand again. I decided to go back to my Keurig since the price on New England ground coffee for my drip maker skyrocketed. These pods are not bad, slightly more bitter but stronger than previous medium roast pods I’ve tried. Bottom line is that per cup, my coffee is costing me about 27¢/cup less with these pods. That’s a few dollars a month that this fixed income senior can use for other necessities.

an abundance of frustration; a story
I was hopeful this would be the beginning of many repeat purchases & was excited (albeit skeptical) to find this item at such a reasonable price. I was initially thrilled, less $$$ than my previous brand & tasted good: Heck Yeah! Sadly, my excitement was short-lived. I quickly came to realize the pods are flawed. The majority of the time the pods basically explode in the Keurig. Hot water is released into the pod but doesn't stream coffee into the cup. As a result, the pod fills with hot water until it erupts from the foil top. A maddening, hot mess! Allow me to tell a little story. Don't judge me. After a typical 4.5 hours of restless sleep, I'm jolted awake by the relentless shriek of the alarm. Hit the snooze button 4 times until begrudgingly I drag my achy, exhausted self out of bed. Shuffle across the bedroom floor having the previous days mascara smeared down my cheek. I'm forced to acknowledge my snooze button addiction has (again) cost me the breezy morning I envisioned & I regretfully submit myself to my situation. The stark reality is that I have under 28 minutes to get myself in appropriate condition to face yet another day of hell, oops I mean another hectic day. Anyhow... outside, 4 a.m. & still dark. I'm standing in my robe, being pelted with a mixture of snow & painful little ice balls. I wait (at least11 minutes) for my Prima-Donna K-9 to find the absolute best place to have "a poopie". After the spoiled furball gets her treat (she successfully did a poopie) I'm smiling to myself as that precious 1st cup of coffee of the day calls to me like an old friend. The dog is smugly chomping her peanut butter biscuit & I set my lucky coffee cup on the Keurig. A sideways glance from the four-legged mutt & I know she knows. The thing I'm anticipating will be much better than that dry, stale peanut butter morsel she's already devoured. She looks at me with jealous eyes, saddened by the fact that she has no thumbs & cannot possibly partake in this cup of rejuvenation I'm preparing. Setting my coffee pod in place, I deliberately dismiss the fact that only 14 minutes remain before I must begin the journey to my expectant but, paying master . In this moment I realize I am thankful for my thumbs & remain blissful. I push the "brew" button....... Let me tell you, in this moment, hell hath no fury like that of a woman whos coffee pod explodes. My sad tale continues to this very day. Regularly now, I ask myself; will my morning, (thus my entire day) be doomed at the hands of another faulty coffee pod? I am forced to contemplate how badly I need my job. Perhaps I should say heck with it all and go back to bed?! Will I be forced to face the day without any life-fuel at all? Can I endure yet another mocking stare from my drooling companion, as she happily licks the remnants of peanut buttery deliciousness from her mouth while I glare at my empty (not-so-lucky) cup? I haphazardly wipe coffee grounds from the entire surface of my kitchen while cursing these blasted inexpensive, large quantity, off-brand coffee pods. I tell myself I absolutely will not experience another morning such as this. But I do. So many mornings. I made this purchase obviously, because I am frugal. Spending 46 bucks for 18 pods is insanity! With this purchase, I thought I'd discovered the secret to mortal happiness; 120 pods for under $30! But they have become the bane of my existence! Considering my aforementioned frugality, I cannot simply walk away from this, I have entered into a 120 pod commitment! A sane woman would toss this nightmare in the garbage & return to her previous state of contentment while casually sipping her (not-exploded) expensive cup of joe. But, as you might have guessed I am not quite a sane woman. So I continue what has become the morning disaster, with approximately 108 more to go until I might shout "good riddance!" to this seemingly endless supply of cruel pods. However, if I must confess a silver lining, it is that on the rare occasions that the pod maintains its' integrity and provides me with the expected, perfect cup of coffee, I am momentarily stunned into quiet appreciation for the little things. Smiling as I take a sip, I burn my tongue and start cussing. Life is hard.
