Works great for big or small knives. With the polishing compound you can get your knives to a mirror shine plus it gets the blade as sharp as a Razor. The wood is really thick and tough, it’s Not gonna break. There’s no bumps or humps either. The entire board is really flat. You can’t beat it with this price, it’s well worth the money and very easy to use.

Liking the size , will use as prep to the final finish . No need to change compounds , just strops ( dedicated compound for each )

Never knew what to expect, but was actually very impressed by the products finish, no splinters or rough wooden handles (in my personal opinion) a well-made and professionally finished honing strop that joins and compliments my ever-growing collection of trusted hand tools. Pro's: Easy to hold, nice clean leather surface, cut to accurately fit the wooden handle up to it edges. 👍 Cons: I was secretly hoping it would magically hone my knives for me, but alas one has to put a little effort in! 😉 Conclusion: They're ideal for 'honing' ones knives to hair-whittling perfection! ⭐
