Nice little system
So far, so good. Speakers are but on the small size but I got the Pyle PSS4 speaker selector and added my floor speakers. Really nice sound.

The sound will blow you away
I'm probably going to get a lot of flack from sound system geeks for this review (my husband is one of you!) My husband kept telling me the only way to go is separate components if you want a great system ( a Technique turn table, a Pioneer receiver etc.) That's probably true if you want to run your own disco or radio station. But this is REALLY a great system! It's easy to put together, easy to operate -I can play my vinyl and dust off my cassette tapes as well as play all my CD's or just listen to the radio. I'm really happy with it! And the Bluetooth is a super bonus. I can't complain or find fault with it even after my husband tried to convince me that the sound quality would probably be terrible. No worries, it sounds great. And for $157.00 and change (tax & shipping) I'm completely satisfied.

Inexpensive system for all your music
Since it is nearly impossible to find a good, old-fashioned, complete rack stereo system any more - I decided to get one of these "all-in-one" systems to play my old records, CD's and tapes. The system is fairly compact and has a nice look. The sound quality is pretty good - though definitely not Hi-Fi. There is a slight "thump" sound between tracks when playing CD's which is a bit annoying, but otherwise it is an acceptable quality for casual listening. Pros: Plays 33, 45, and 78 RPM records and comes with a spare stylus. Plays CD's, cassette tapes, AM/FM radio, has a USB port for playing MP3 files, and has Blue-Tooth connectivity for streaming from you phone or other sources. Wood grain look and black controls look nice and it has a remote. Cons: There are no presets for the radio. The power/volume knob is an analog dial and cannot be controlled via the remote. There is noise between tracks when playing CD's. The small size means that the dust cover cannot completely cover LP's and is notched to accommodate them.

Great price and works beautifully!
This puts out 80 decibals (anything above 85 is harmful) so it is definitely loud enough for my living room which is rather large. I checked every function first thing and everything worked beautifully. It's nice looking and value priced, I made the right choice on this one. I have been playing all my old albums, cassette tapes, cds and listening to the radio since I got it. Sincerely, Bob Dodaro

Returned for a Refund
I unboxed it, set it up, and checked all functions. I was dissatisfied immediately. The TINY speakers are cheap and tinny, with no bass, and there is no EQ to adjust the sound. The unit is so small that an LP on the turntable extends out past the cover and unit. The turntable arm does not automatically reset at the end of an album, so it just sits there popping. The first cassette I put in to play was eaten and destroyed. Highly NOT recommended.

Good Value for Price.
Bought this for my son. It's a nice size and the quality seems decent. There are no controls for treble or base, but it has a nice sound. I like that it has radio, cassette, cd and phonograph in addition to bluetooth. Being able to convert the old stuff to mp3 is pretty great and he likes being able to stream through it too.

Sounds like a crappy car radio
I purchased this item three years ago, and we got a bit of use out of it in that first year or so. My son wanted a dual-cassette system, so he could try making mix tapes the old-school way. The tapes he made sounded kind of crappy, so I think he kind of lost interest in it. We were all pretty much using digital streaming for our music needs, anyway. Fast forward to the end of this past year (December of 2025), and my family is moving and we've got to do some downsizing. I was excited to put this system in my bedroom (rather than in a common room) so I could listen to my old record albums and CDs again, just for the fun of it. It turns out the mix tapes my son made were crappy weren't from his lack of skill or poor guidance on my part--it was because the system is crappy! I listened to a brand new CD the other day, from beginning to end, and it was a major disappointment. The sound quality is just plain shabby. There's, I don't know, feedback or something, the entire time. There's kind of a clicking sound every now and then. Everything I've tried (cassettes, CDs, vinyl albums, even used bluetooth to stream from my phone) just sounds like it's coming out of an old car radio or something. I thought it must be because I was listening to these items on an all-in-one system, rather than the old component stereo I used to have back in the 80s and 90s. Then I found the FIRST all-in-one system I ever got, in about 2008 or so, and it STILL sounds amazing! (Seriously, I asked my son, why did I get this Boytone system in the first place? he said it was for recording from cassette to cassette... lessons learned: don't buy everything your kid wants; don't buy a piece of junk just because it *appears* to have everything I need. I'm back to my old Victrola The Quincy 6-in-1 Bluetooth Record Player & Multimedia Center with Built-in Speakers – 3-Speed Turntable, CD & Cassette Player, AM/FM Radio, Wireless Music Streaming. (It's so good that I bought a second one for my oldest child when she moved out, five years ago, and she's still using hers daily.) I'm so lucky mine still works, too! Into the garbage with the Boytone item! (I gave 2 stars instead of just one, because it DID have all the things it said it would--they were just terribly poor quality.)
