These are great! Perfect size for young kids and easy to use. I bought them for my 4year old, in addition to a lot of hiking and wanting them for an extra safety measure if my daughter dashes off out of sight on a trail, I also spend a lot of time working on my family's farm. I run the store and she is often out "helping" her Grandfather/G.Grandfather with a farm chore. It's nice to be able to send her out with a walkie talkie and know I can get a hold of her if needed (or vice versa).

I needed a gift for my grandson and thought this would be a cool gift! It is a totally real set of walkie talkies but smaller in size perfect for children (although all the adults were trying them out!). Easy to operate and had good range and clarity. The lanyard that came with it was great as then he can wear it and still talk on it. A simple turn on the clip and it's free. Solid material just like an adult set. Didn't feel like a cheap toy one. Big hit at the party!

They were tiny!

These things are junk! No other way to explain it! We gave them to my 9 yr old daughter for Christmas so her and her best friend, who lives one street up, could talk when ever they want! They literally worked the first day! The next morning, one of them wouldn't come on at all, and by the third day, the other one was making a horrible beeping noise. We tried everything, replacing batteries, and looking on line to see how to fix them! My daughter is so very upset! That's what she wanted most and they are broken! Not to mention, she was so excited when opening them, she ripped up the package... And now I can't return them! Please, don't buy these...they are absolutely NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!

Update 1/2/19Its’s been a year since his was given to my kids.Well about 6 months ago, these walkie talkies stopped working. Changed batteries, and did everything we could think of (change channels, etc), but it just has high pitch sound and cannot be used to communicate. I was hoping these would work a bit longer than they did..... (worked about 6 months). My kids looked the way these walkie talkie looked and the size that fit perfectly in their hands (6 year old and 10 year old). If they would last longer I would purchase again.Original Review~~~Pros:Durable (dropped several times and works fine)Small (fits in small hand)Design is pretty good.Con:Instruction hard to understand.

Garbage in a cute lil package.... The walkies are nice and small. They function well the first day. With every day since we bought them they are becoming less usable. I now have a pair of walkies that are nothing but static and they have no range any more. I bought them for my lil one when she goes a few houses down or even to the next block. Initially they worked great but now just a couple houses away its nothing but static. These are useless!! Save your money and buy something else.

My niece and I have tested these out and she loves them. The description is spot on. The only thing that would be better is if they actually came with rechargeable batteries and charging cords, or at the very least, any batteries.

My grandkids love their walkie talkies....These work great and are a lot of fun to play with. Just as importantly adults will find them useful.
