I purchased this shelving unit so I could store dry goods, cooking spices in a closet I’ve converted because our pantry is a paltry undersized closet in the kitchen with little storage space, and I’m a gourmet cook. I have a lot of dry goods in organization containers already so this was the perfect fit. I’m determined to organize this house and this is yet another step in that organization madness! This heavy-duty 4 shelf unit exceeded my expectations! ASSEMBLY 5/5 Easy and straightforward directions. The clips I was worried about but this design makes putting the shelves together such an easy process. I’ve never put one together but I did it in 20 minutes. The hardest part is deciding the widths between shelfs. The wheels went on easily and work as expected. Shelves fit down onto a clip that you determine the height of. Counting the lines where you want the clips to all be at the same height was the hardest part of the assembly. STURDINESS 5/5 I was so happy to see that this is a heavy-duty shelving unit. The materials are good and the construction shows that it will handle the 350 lb. per shelf! Materials seem long-lasting and durable. The first thing that stands out with this shelving unit is its robust build. The heavy-duty construction instills confidence in its ability to handle substantial weight. This shelving unit feels solid, doesn’t wobble. I do think I will get shelf liners so when my organization bins are fully in place, I can feel satisfied they won’t topple over. I plan on storing some kitchen appliances or heavier glass containers on this bottom shelf, it will hold the weight and still roll just fine. I loaded up my dry goods and then wheeled this through two rooms into the closet. I plan on being able to roll this into my kitchen for big cooking events like Thanksgiving or Christmas. ADJUSTABLE 5/5 Shelves easily adjust to which height you want the shelf to sit. This allows you to customize the shelf, for example all heavier/taller items on bottom. Shelves can adjust easily, even if the shelves are loaded. Just empty that one shelf, reposition the clips that hold it in place and evenly and slowly lower the shelf down onto the newly positioned clips. If you let it down hard and fast onto the clips, they will pop off and you have to fix them and count the lines again. The shelves sit solid onto the clips. MULTI-PURPOSE 5/5 I can imagine this shelf can be used at businesses to store items, in the garage to store items like glass jars or cleaning supplies. I would make sure to line the metal shelf grids before you put glass on it so it will sit stable. I bought gray liners that fit absolutely perfect. Everything looks so organized and I’ve utilized the vertical space in my closet, and with the wheels, can move the shelf to the left or right out of the way and still use the closet for other things. The look of the unit is really nice, I bought the black which is a shiny finish. This unit is attractive enough to be in an open room if needed.

I am working on renovating my house and purchased one of these to see how well it worked with loading it up and moving things from room to room. Worked so well I ordered two more. Easy assembly. I would recommend.

Do not be put off by the few bad reviews and complaints about assembly. This is a very good, sturdy, rack that is easy and quick to assemble if....you are careful and diligent, take your time, and follow the directions. It seems that every negative comment relates to the plastic sleeves that must be connected to the vertical members in order to hold up the shelves: that they are cheap and not strong, are hard to get on, fall off when you try to install the shelves, the shelves end up uneven, and on and on. Yes, if you are hasty and not careful, I can see how these could give you trouble, but that's operator error, and not any fault of the design. The plastic sleeves are in fact plenty strong enough (if you understand the engineering and design), they are very easy to put on, they don't fall off if you go slowly and carefully as you set the shelf in place, and getting the shelves even and level is very simple (there are graduations on the upright poles that make getting the sleeves in the right place VERY easy). I was careful and took my time setting it up, and it all went together perfectly in less thatn 15 minutes. And, once together, the rack is very sturdy. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

This review is for the black version with castors. I was looking to get some shelving for the clutter in my garage and this 4-shelf version was a good size for fitting under my mounted cabinets that I have in there. I ordered two of these with the wheels, which include the leveling legs, as I wanted options in terms of whether I wanted to move them easily or keep them stationary. Oddly, the wheels version with the leveling legs are cheaper than the legs only version as they are identical. These are nearly identical to some shelving that I bought several years ago from the HD. I actually put one of these with the wheels and one without as I could not fit the shelf under the cabinets as the wheels added a couple inches of height that I did not have there. So one shelf with the leveling legs went under the cabinets and one with the wheels was put into the corner of the garage. The quality is pretty decent with the shelves and pretty equivalent to what I bought from HD, except being white, over 10 years ago. Those old shelves have held up with no issues. For the most part, putting these together are pretty easy to do as long as you are gentle and don’t try to force the issue as you could very easily strip the poles when you screw together or knock off the plastic holders. The included instructions are ok, but it would be nice if they had printed in a bigger font to make it a bit of an easier read, especially for someone older trying to put this together. The wheels are good quality and roll easily. The set of 4 wheels include two with braking mechanisms. Would have been nice if all 4 had locking ability though. The shelves and poles are pretty sturdy and should hold the weight limits that it outlined. Since I had put some similar shelves years ago, I had some experience with the plastic holders that some complain about. It is a matter of making sure they are pointed up as printed on them and in certain sections of the poles or they will not stay together. You can actually tell the difference if you move two of them up and down on the pole until they click, then you know you have the right spot. Then it is a matter of making sure you count the lines on the poles to make sure you have the plastic locking pieces lined up evenly. As long as you, initially, gently put on the shelves when sitting them on the plastic pieces, they will not fly off. Once you have the shelf even, then you tap it down until it locks into place. Then it is a matter of gravity with the shelf forcing the plastic together which in turns keeps the shelf in place. There are two spares in case you lose or break one of the plastic pieces. Although the plastic holders don’t look that strong, I have used the same type of plastic pieces on my old shelving with some heavy stuff and they have held well. I have no reason to believe that this will be any different. Once together, these are sturdy and have held everything I tossed on them. As long as you follow the directions and put the locking pieces in the right places on the poles, this should be solid for you too. 4 stars

I'm very happy with my purchase. I shopped around and this was by far the best price and its great quality It's lightweight yet stable and sturdy .One you understand the instructions, Its easy to build and easy to modify if needed in the future. Its exactly what I was looking for to store all my moter skill equipment. With the wheels its easy to push around so I can get to my storage space at the back.

Not for heavy storage. but a perfect for lightweight day to day use materials. Stability wise extraordinary and the wheels are stable with breaks. Its very easy to setup if u follow the instructions and alignment u have to make it perfect. So go for it if ur looking for a home use and a balcony garden setup as water doesn't gets stored on the mesh setup like this one.

Strong & useful. Caster wheels are a plus.
