Jerome Alexander Magic Minerals AirBrush Foundation System - Complete 5pc Spray Makeup Set with Foundation, Primer, and Setting/Finishing Spray - for Smooth, Radiant Skin (Light)

I purchased the Magic Minerals AirBrush Foundation System (Complete 5 PC set) by Jerome Alexander in LIGHT. I was excited to try it. I will be fair and say that I have a really hard time finding foundation that works for me as I have gotten older. I am 61 and my biggest issues are large pores, hormonal blemishes, and a light dusting of that baby hair all over my face. Oh, and let's not forget my dying skin that is constantly flaking, faster and faster, as I (we) age. Anyway, as coverage goes, the foundation did a great job covering blemishes and areas of discoloration. It did not help in terms of minimizing pores, and honestly, NO foundation seems to like the little hairs on my face. That said, it seems I can never achieve the natural look that I would like to have. The invisible Air Primer didn't seem very helpful in terms of resolving any of those issues for me. It did help the foundation glide on more smoothly, so I'll give it that. The Air Finish Setting Spray smelled nice and I liked it. I thought it helped with trying to achieve the desired, more natural look. I sprayed it on and used a sponge to apply it. The set also included 2 kabuki brushes -- a fat one and a slimmer one. The brushes are nice. All in all, it's a nice product and it's probably great for most people. It just didn't really work well for me. I am not going to dis it for that. It was worth a try, lol!

The fact of air brush itself is great, but it makes a mess. I hold it over my bathroom sink, because it goes everywhere when you spray it. It says to hold it back from the brush, but if you do, look out for the mess. Otherwise, the product is fine for the feels of it. I can't get a good color match with the airbrush kind so I opted to try the My Color that adjust to your skin tone and that works for me and no mess. Blendable and Buildable coverage.

I really like how it went on. I am fair skinned and got the light one. I love the box it came in and the size or the primer, foundation, and the setting spray were good sizes. They are small at all. I like that it came with 2 brushes. Would have liked it to specify which brush is used for what but i figured the one closest to the primer was for the primer. I like how light weight and sheer it was on my face. I didn't feel like I had a lot of makeup caked on my face. I've only used it once so far on Thanksgiving Day so im hoping it keeps coming out of the containers like it did perfectly the first time. Ive bought some spray foundation before from another company and it only sprayed 6 to 7 times. I was disappointed from that company. I hope this one continues to work. I had no problem putting it on. I love how you don't have to put on a lot. And you can put on more if you want to. Just have to make sure it dries throughly. I did use serums under the primer. I thi k next time ill just use a moisturizer under the primer. So far...I love the set!!

When I first started applying this foundation I thought it was going to settle in my lines and wrinkles. It seemed like it was going to be a heavy, full coverage foundation. Well, it is full coverage but it’s very light and airy. It didn’t settle into those lines and wrinkles and actually seemed to take a few years off of my appearance. I also have very dark under eye circles which almost completely disappeared. This will definitely be a permanent part of my makeup routine.
