Definitely a must if you are using a square box with your 14-50 outlet.

Perfect fit for Gen 3!
Although the product description doesn't specify, this is a perfect fit for the Gen 3 Tesla Mobile Connector. Easy to install. Feels very sturdy. Holds the charger firmly. Works great for relieving strain on the power outlet.

Good holder and the extra base is very helpful.
Overall this worked fine. While the cradle is fine, its similar to many others. The thing that puts this above some is the extra base. The Tesla mobile charger has a very short lead to the plug. If you do not have a flush mounted plug (which many will not if they are using a 50AMP socket, as the wire is to thick) the outlet can sit up to 4 inches out from the wall. With a less than 1 foot lead on the charger, it can be very hard to mount the bracket if something is not moving it out from the wall. The extra base was very helpful in allowing the bracket to be aligned and not have the wire bend too much. The other thing that was very nice was the included screws were long enough to get a good hold on the wall. Sometimes the included screws are so short, it does not hold very well. This set included screws that were plenty long, which I greatly appreciated.

Product pilot holes lined up with Tesla cord management bracket that holds mobile connector. No problems installing. Really helps when the 220 plug is extended out from the wall. Helps line everything up..

Worked great, the anchors provided were plastic and did not work for me, do yourself a favor and just use metal anchors to attach to drywall.

Perfect solution to nagging problem
The weight of the Tesla charger, hanging from the adapter plug, would eventually loose solid ground contact, and cause a ground fault. This adapter now carries weight of the Tesla charger and no more ground faults. Great, simple solution.

I have my 14-50 outlet on the exterior of my house so it's in an awkward position. The holder with the riser bracket fits perfectly. I had to adjust the riser bracket so I can drill into the brick only, so it's at an angle. I was skeptical with this purchase but so far so good. Product shipped fast.

This is great to have for the mobile charger. However read the details. This is just for the charger holder. You need a top part for the charger handle. Just keep that in mind if that is what your looking for.

Holds the Tesla EVSE well. It’s a tight fit so it doesn’t jiggle around. The plastic material could be a bit thicker or sturdier though. The wall extender is hollow as well.
