ConvaTec ESENTA Adhesive Remover Spray for Around Stomas and Wounds, Sting Free, Alcohol Free, 50 mL Bottle (Case of 12)

The good: This product is very effective at removing Stoma wafers. The odor is barely noticeable.The bad: There is a very small amount of remover in each spray canister. Now, the price has gone up 50% for a case of 12. That means ConvaTec has priced me out of their market. I will look for a cheaper alternative, even if it's slightly less effective.

I thought this would be just another one of those products that is all talk and no action, boy was I wrong! this product helped remove a very stubborn adhesive that would literally peel skin off! one good spray of this product and the adhesive wiped off like water! great product, well worth it!

I use this to change the ostomy dressing. If I spray it on before I start preparing everything needed for ostomy change the adhesive comes right off without pulling my akin. Ao easy to use. Will certainly buy again.

I use this spray to remove the adhesive overpatches for my Dexcom G7 sensor. I end up changing the overpatch about every 2-3 days because my skin becomes itchy and irritated. This spray allows me to remove the adhesive patch without ripping out the sensor itself and having to replace it before the ten day window ends, therefore saving me a significant amount of money in the long run. When it is time to replace the sensor, I use the spray, and the adhesive comes right up with no pain or skin tears.

Great for Illostomy bag removal.

I bought this to help with removing tape and sticky residue from my husbands osteomy. It is expensive and does dry quickly but it relieves a lot of the discomfort for removing adhesive appliances. Great for anyone who has an osteomy.

Hands down my favorite and most effective way to remove the adhesive associated with my appliance. It’s incredibly effective at helping to easily peel everything off without tugging at the skin or hair.I’ve tried other methods and products, but this easily my first choice. Unfortunately it’s on the more expensive end if you don’t have insurance coverage for it, but it absolutely works and is worth the price to me.
