If you love good coffee, BUY THESE FILTERS!
We have been using Melita unbleached #4 filters for decades. Way back when it was said that the bleached filters were bad for you or something to that effect so we switched to unbleached and just never tried anything else. We just bought a new Technivorm Moccamaster coffeemaker and are thrilled with the much better coffee flavor we are now enjoying. It came with some white Technivorm filters which we used till we ran out. When we switched back to the brown Melita filters the coffee flavor change for the worse was readily apparent. It added a flavor like wet brown paper looks and removed the "bright sparkle" for lack of a better term. Iin looking for the Technivorm filters we ran across these and in fact now realize these are the exact same filter they rebranded and included with our coffeemaker, or at least there is zero discernible difference. The paper has a very high quality appearance compared with the Melita. We also enjoy the little tab that helps to open the filter up. But what really counts is that it is an excellent filter that flows evenly and brews an exceptional cup of coffee.

Good filters for Moccamaster
Fits well on Moccamaster Select. Doesn't affect taste (no paperlike aftertaste). Quantity of 100 is perfect to remind you of descaling coffee machine at ~2.5-3 months.Tip: only fold the side seam, do not fold the bottom seam- it's given me a better flow overall.

The Best Coffee Filters for Pour Over or Clever
I count on these filters for their consistency. They are not always available, and I have had to use other brands, and none have been able to reproduce the rich flavor of the coffee beans I have been using.

Works great
I use these in a large Clever coffee dripper. Although they're slightly too small, the filter itself has lived up to my expectations: they filter without noticeable change in taste, do not tear and price point is acceptable.

Excellent Filters
These are by far the best cone filters I've found to date. They hold up to my immersion brewing process and have almost zero discernible paper taste after a quick rinse. Very clean, high clarity cup.The only minor quibble is that they are slightly smaller than the Melitta filters I was using before. I had to adjust all of my measurements a bit down to avoid having grounds spill over the edge of the filter and into the cone. Definitely not a big deal but worth mentioning.

Smelly box
Box of filters smells like air freshener or perfume: scent can be picked up in the coffee. Too bad filter box isn't shrink- wrapped/sealed or stored in an odor-free environment.

NOT exactly the same as Technivorm's #4 - But close – and still very good.
I've read reviews that state the two filters are EXACTLY the same. They are not, but not to worry, there's absolutely no problem with them. I will continue to use Filtropa #4 filters because they are of nearly the same quality and are priced lower than Technivorm filters. In direct comparison between the two, the seams are a little different, the notch is different, the opacity of the paper is different and when held to the light the Filtropa filter is less consistent in thickness or perhaps whitening (seen as dark and light spots in the paper). Still, no problem with these but wanted to let others know that the Technivorm does appear to be a higher grade product. Perhaps beyond the point of diminishing returns but it's good to see that Technivorm is delivering a very refined filter to coincide with the quality of their coffee makers. I have no doubt that Technivorm's filters are produced by the same company but that the specs are not identical.

Best filter ever
i have pretty much tried most paper filters including a number of Melittas (even used one in addition to a mesh filter to keep spring water longer in touch with the grounds for more flavor), bleached and unbleached, Chemex, etc..This filter is the best by far....very far! I didn't wash it but did brush it off with my fingers to get any residue off. Used fresh, fine grounded beans from a local roaster with my ceramic, number 4 cone drip-er....and, also spring water. The coffee is just great! Clean, yet full flavored. I used a Peruvian organic bean and I will try an organic Italian roast that I ordered from here (The Bean Coffee Company) after I use up all the stash I have now. This filter is a keeper!!!
