We love these chargers! Instead of cords being everywhere in the car these are sleek and not all over the car! Extend long or you can use short! We love them and charge the phone very fast!

I purchased the fastest charging plug I could find for my car I found these wires that said they would transfer data and charge quickly. So far they're doing a pretty good job. My phone charges up to full status from about 25 in 30 minutes!By full status I mean 85%. I've read in a few places that it's not a good idea to charge your phone to 100% every time. If you anticipate not being able to charge your phone and charging it to 100% every once in awhile is okay. Put the majority of the time you should stick around 85%.As for durability of the spring mechanism that sucks it back in and locks it out. Normal being very careful with it. We're not stretching it all the way out when I jerking it around we're not pulling all the way out and letting it go. We hope that helps it last.

The spring / retraction mechanism gave up in both items gave after less than 100 uses. Garbage product.

I've used this type of retractable "cable" for years as they were wonderful for travel. Usually, a cord would stand up to constant use for a year or two, then have to be replaced. Unfortunately, this product was not as reliable.With moderate use only, I found that one of the cords started sticking partway through its retract cycle. If you don't get the cycle to catch and work properly, the entire cable can get jammed. With some effort, you may be able to get it wound up again, but the results are not guaranteed.

Durable, easy to use, and I love it doesn’t take up much space when not in use.
