I wasn't sure if this was going to work when I got it, but I have been looking for something that would help the fruit and veg last longer in the fridge. And I wanted something that didn't need refilling or throwing away after a couple of months.I popped this in the fridge as it came, and set my fruit and veg on the top of it, some still in their punnets, and some directly on it.At first I wasn't sure it was doing anything, but as I went away for the weekend, I left some blueberries in their punnet on the mat. When I came home I was expecting them to be soft and/or mouldy as I was away for 4 days.However, when I came home, they were still edible. I also left some chillis that were starting to turn directly on the mat, and a week after I came back, they are still perfectly fine.I have no idea how the mat works, but it does. Fruit and veg lasts a lot longer in the fridge now, and the fact that I can just wash the mat and put it back in the fridge is a big bonus for me. No replacing it or getting refils for it, just wash it, dry it and pop it back in the fridge.I like the mat so much, I may get a couple more for the fridge and to use on the fruit bowl and potatoes.

This material is like thin sponge. It helps to keep vegetables dry and fresh. Moisture sits underneath the material liner and needs regular cleaning for it to work properly.

This product works quite well.however keeping it clean is difficult as things tend to stick to it. I would suggest that this product would not last long ifwashed with everyday washing as it is foam and therefore not durable in the washing machine. I would wash this product by hand and drip dry. I would also like to point out that moisture from your veg does tend to sit at the bottom of the salads tray and therefore needs a wipe weekly.

I was doubtful when I bought the first one of these foam sheets. However, I noticed that the vegetables in the salad drawer really do last longer.Only downside is that it is difficult to clean, so needs replacing about every 4 months or so. Recommended!

Fits my vegetable drawer perfectly keeps my apples for longer. Excellent.

Not at all what was pictured in the product description. I received two sheets of thin plastic, attached to about 3mm of padding- similar to a disposable absorbent sheet used in hospitals. There was no plastic on the bottom of the padding. I used in my fridge for 1 week before having to throw away as the padding had become saturated with moisture and the liners were sodden. They could not be washed due to the exposed papery padding- had they been in the fridge any longer they would have started to disintegrate.

OK I suppose but too small - only enough to line one small basket in my fridge. Price too high.
