I bought this product because I wanted to try something new and there are not many brands like this that offer natural hair dyes. The colour looks amazing on my hair. I have few grey hair and these were covered nicely as well. The application is very easy comparing to henna, however I had to take the applier off since the bottle is little hard squeeze and almost nothing was coming out. I do not like the size of bottle. I think it is too small. I have very dense hair and the product barely covered my roots. I would happily pay couple of pounds more to get bigger bottle. Also if you have your own cap use it, because the cap that comes with it is just a piece of plastic that very loosely sits on your head. Overall I would recommend this product, although it is quite pricey considering you need to get at least two even when you have shoulder-length hair. But the quality is great.

OMG, what have I just used on my hair?!!! I've been colouring my hair for years and been all colours under the sun!I've always wanted to try a vegetable Henna and found this one. It came yesterday and I used it tonight...IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING STUFF!!! No smell, no dripping, no choking, no stinging...just a beautiful, glorious colour!I left it on for 6 hours...too lazy to wash it really!! When I was rinsing it, it felt SO smooth and silky that I felt I didn't need conditioner!Normally, my hair without conditioner, after a regular colour is like a bird's nest! Tonight it's smooth and shiny...WITHOUT conditioner!I am a complete and utter convert now and will NEVER go back to a chemical colour...Trust me, this is the ABSOLUTE BEST colour I have ever used in my life!! It's bloody lovely!!(I can't add photo's as it looks orange instead of red...I need to take pictures in natural light)It's ready mixed...you get gloves and a cap to wear...put it on, massage it in and voila!ABSOLUTELY, UTTERLY AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO YOU ALL!!!

While the cream is easy to use and makes less mess, I've found it was a complete waste of money. Two trips to the gym, my hair was sweating orange. My hair has been washed three times since the first initial rinse and when I looked in the mirror his morning in the sunlight, I noted my hair had nearly gone back to the same shade it was before I used this. It leaves hair in good condition and the colourwas nice initially but it's not worth it if it's going to cost so much for a three or four day hair colour.Will be going back to powdered henna by this company, the cream was nice and less smelly but it washed and leaked out leaving such a dull almost insignificant effect on my hair far more quickly than it should have. So disappointed.Edit:I spoke to the company themselves and was told basically the red colours was out very quickly...funny how this isn't mentioned at ALL on the packaging or page? Every time I sweat it's STILL coming out orange and staining my hoods and skin and I haven't even had this in for a week yet. So very disappointed and feel like the company copped out a bit with their response to me. Surely even a Semi perm henna should last more than four washes and not be staining things?

Like a first time henna user I choose this product. It already came mixed so I didnt need to do anything. After dyeing my hair looked awesome, smooth and shiny. The only thing which bothered me was that the colour bleeds a lot. So after few washes i coulnd see much difference.

I bought the "Red" colour and love it. My hair is dark brown but starting to get grey at the sides of my face. This henna colours well and stays for quite a few weeks. I keep it on for 1 hour and find that gives excellent results.There is plenty in the pack for shoulder length hair. I use an old towel for drying. I wash my hair about every 3 days. I redo the colouring about 6-8 weeks later. Its a shampoo and so its easy to use and it comes with plastic gloves and a plastic head covering to keep in the warmth whilst you wait. Its great.

Previous hair colour light brown/auburn. Used this henna for 5 hours.Adore this colour! Vibrant and sexy red. Glorious shine.Hope photo does justice. Amazing to get such amazing red from henna.Husband very pleased😍.It is strong colour so extra care protecting clothes and furniture whilst using. Conditions beautifully.It is pretty dramatic washing out after so be prepared! Wash and condition after.Both gloves split which was unusual. Mebbe bit thin.Would super recommend. Am highly chemical and perfume sensitive and no issues.

LOVE IT! rly gr8 quality hair creme colors my hair rly well (i went 4 an ombre dip dye look) like a reddie copperie color not as strong as hoped but i am still ecstatic 1st time using henna and i am all in all rly happy with the results will buy more!!! XD

I don't know why anyone wouldn't use Surya products, they are amazing, the colours are vibrant and they leave your hair in fantastic condition. I only dye my hair with henna. I don't like chemicals in products as they make my scalp itch, Surya products are natural and just leave your scalp and hair feeling fantastic. You would be hard pushed to find anything else on the market this good. If you use the powder you will not get the same effect, the cream is the best, it is easy to use, less messy and extremely effective.
