Initial issues solved by great customer support
I couldn't seem to get it to go over 1920x1080 @ 60Hz initially. After a lot of fiddling, I was able to get a picture after changing my graphics card chroma settings at 4k and 30Hz - however it did not seem to support 60Hz as it suggestsHowever Alex from their support team offered me some settings to try and after a bit of trial and error succeeded in making it work.He gave me some settings to try, 4:2:0 @8bit 3840x2160 @60Hz nailed it.Bear in mind this goes from the media pc in my rack, through cat 6, to my amplifier then to my TV. So very impressed with it.Incidentally I tested with cat 5e and it also worked fine.

Amazing little box and inexpensive. Did what I wanted with easy setup.
I finally got around to installing my HDMI transmitter/receiver over Ethernet and what and AMAZING little box. When I opened up the packaging first impressions were “solid little box”. I didn’t expect the item to be so tiny – but a very solid build. The item came with a receiver and transmitter EU/UK power plugs and IR transmitter receiver. Initially I was thinking am I only going to get a receiver or a transmitter due to the low price compared to competitor products, so a big sigh of relief that I took the gamble. I connected the UK power supply which has a screw on connection, no worries about the items falling and unplugging. Something you need to keep in mind if the item will be stored in an attic of crawl space distribution. All connects fit VERY securely.I connected my Virgin Cable box HDMI and then my Ethernet cable. I’m running my CAT6 cable from a cupboard under my stairs to the living room a distance of approximately 10 metres. In my living room I repeated the process; make sure you have the correct box attached – TRANSMITER to Cable/Satellite/Fire TV etc. and RECEIVER to your TV. Turned the power on to all the devices and VOLA Picture with sound; simple as that all in 1080p. I was concerned that I might get flickering green screens, which seems to be an issue with some cheaper and even surprisingly more expensive products.I have all my devices plugged into my AV receiver via HDMI with 1 HDMI out, so I’m able to switch between inputs no problem as the IR feature works as if the devices were in my living room. For a direct 1 to 1 connection I highly recommend this product. Keep in mind this item is not DBaseT so you will be unable to add to a network setup, but this isn’t an issue for my setup and frankly for the low price when I need to add additional tv I’ll replace with the 4KEX70 or 4KEX100 both of which are DBaseT compliant. This was confirmed via an email communication I had with their customer service, again very quick response so big thumbs up there. So even though I took a bit of a gamble on this little box ended up being a pleasant surprise, with the quality build and simple setup and the big plus was the low price. If only all my other gadget purchases worked this well.

For some reason this just does not want to work! Tried with several short factory made cat6 cables, changed hdmi leads, and even tried with different tv and different source.UPDATE: Was sent out a 4k version next day to fix the issue! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Five Stars
Truly excellent item. Beautifully packaged and worked without any problems. Replaced old extender that used 2 cat6 cables so I now have a spare cable.IR is also excellent replacing tv link plus system which was slow and temperamental.
