Perfect!!
This is my third pair of Vasque Breeze over about 7 years. The first two pair were exactly the same and I was a bit worried with the slight remake and some of the reviews before ordering my latest pair. I use them for work (dog walker) so I put 4-6 miles on them daily plus for light hiking. Other than the water proofing and sole nothing has changed! Fit is exactly the same, toe box the same, same wonderful support in a lightweight boot and same wonderful comfort. The laces were a little bit shorter but I could still double knot them so not an issue. I received them yesterday and put 5 miles on them today. They were comfortable and perfect!! I can't comment on the waterproofing yet but will update. Update 5/10: I wore them out all day working in the rain today, wet grass and some puddles and came home with dry feet! I'm very happy with my boots ☔️

A great quality boot at a great price!
For the trooper color, make sure you look at the 4th picture down and watch the video of the boots because that is a more accurate photo of the actual color. In the first few pictures, the boots look grey, but the boots are actually more of a green color, like a sage green with dark sage/emerald mesh inlays and olive-green accents on the heel and ankle. I'm actually pleasantly surprised because I prefer this color over the grey. I went a half size up, which I normally do for hiking boots to accommodate for thick, wool socks. I wear an 8 and the 8.5 fits perfectly with moderately thick wool socks. I have a regular/slightly wide foot and I did not buy wide width and I have no issues. My toe's are moving comfortably in the toe box and if I were to have gone a full size larger, they would've been too big. These do not feel narrow to me so ignore whoever said these run narrow. I cannot wear narrow shoes. These actually looked wide around the heel and ankle to me. The laces are WAY too short. I could barely tie them, let alone double tie them. I'm probably going to have to buy longer laces, but getting a boot of this quality at this price is worth having to pay for an extra pair of laces.

Great value for the price, but we'll see over time
First impressions... I give this boot 4.5 stars, subtracting 1/2 star for the too-short laces that I will replace with longer laces. The ankle coverage is great, and these boots are very comfortable. I love that Vasque incorporated recycled materials into nearly every component of this boot. Construction appears solid, and I think they look great (Rum Raisin color). Some people might prefer a stiffer sole. I think it's a great value for the price, so I ordered a second pair. I am usually a size 8.5 or 9, but because the fit is tight I am wearing a 9.5.

Get an entire size larger
These boots are great as long as you order them an entire size larger than your normal shoe size. Vasque boots run small. I am a 7.5 normally and get an 8.5 in Vasque boots. They are very good for a narrow heel that tends to slip up while walking, eliminating blisters and holes in socks at the heel. I have put many, many miles in many pairs of these hiking boots over the last 20 years and have always been a fan. They are not quite as high quality as they used to be but are still a good boot. I wear them out in about a year but I also put tons of miles on them and sometimes in terrible conditions. I believe they do continue to be a good value for your money compared to others. They also have good arch and ankle support, lightweight, good waterproofing, and the styling is not bad. I hope this is helpful :)

Good but changed
It’s always disappointing when you go to replace the perfect shoe and find that the latest version is different. These boots are still very good, but they do differ from a previous version which I was replacing. The soles, which used to be Vibram, but are no longer, are now stiffer and harder than before. So, while still gripping well, they’re not as comfortable or flexible for hiking. The material around the ankle is also stiffer. They do provide good ankle support and stability but again, are noticeably less comfortable. Hoping they’ll break in over time. Previous version didn’t need breaking in. They are warm and waterproof, on the plus side, and good looking.

Affordable, comfortable & durable!
I walk up to 10 miles a day for work and these boots are perfect. They are the most comfortable hiking boot that I have ever worn. I have (slightly) wider feet, so I’ve had a very difficult time finding boots that don’t irritate my feet, but these are perfect. I don’t typically wear them when there is a lot of moisture on the ground, but so far they have kept my feet dry. Highly recommend! No complaints after 6 months of substantial use.

Too Narrow even a half size up
These boots are super cute and decently comfortable but they were too narrow. I am an 8 so I ordered an 8.5, and my feel still felt squished. I ordered an 8.5 of the Vasque Talus at the same time and they fit better, so I’m keeping those instead.

Perfect fit. Really good quality shoe.
They fit perfect. True to size. Everyone says that the shoelaces are too short, and they are. This is a call out to the company…just cut these 2” longer. They’re long enough to tie a double knot, but you won’t have ends hanging out. If you have thick ankles, you won’t be able to tie a double knot. Or if you wore thick socks. I don’t know…I like to tie double knots. They’re well made. I usually buy Oboz, but wanted this cute color for hiking in the summertime. They compare fine up next to my Oboz. Very cute. I can live with the laces. But why doesn’t the company just fix the problem.
