Excellent. All three flavors are delicious. The texture is perfectly chewy but not mushy. Nicely packaged too. Definitely fit for gift-giving during holiday season or bringing to a gathering for the desert table or as a hostess gift. The little boxes are so cute too; they can be recycled to use for organizing small trinkets or using as small gift boxes.And by the way....Don't listen to some of the reviewers who say there is thin paper on the candy that you have to pick and peel off. It is NOT paper. It is a thin, edible wafer made from potato starch and olive oil; it is basically tasteless, and very delicate. I believe it's used to keep the candy from being sticky to the touch.

Torrone is well packaged, making it a wonderful gift option. The individual wrapping make it perfect for sharing during festive gatherings or as a thoughtful present for friends and family.Will order again!

i love the idea that each piece is boxed individually which helps control overeating of this Italian candy.

These are very good and fresh - but there is a thin layer of rice paper on them and it can be a challenge to peel it off fully, without taking sticky bits of the candy with it or you may choose to eat the rice paper, it is suppose to be edible. I would still buy these for a special indulgence as they are delicious and worth the extra effort.

When i was a kid, this was our favorite holiday candy. I haven't had it in many years. When I saw it on amazon, I bought it. It brings back memories. So good!

I love this torrone nougat candy! My grandfather used to buy me this exact candy as a little girl. I still love it just as much 😋 It tastes to a T just like it always has - a little, sweet soft nougat candy with nuts. It comes with vanilla, orange and lemon. They’re all equally as good! My absolute favorite touch is the very, light wafer type paper on the top and bottom of each piece. I love the slight feel of a crunch, for my lack of ability to find the right word, when you bite through it. You’ll also get the bigger crunch of the nuts, which are plenteous, finishing off the delicious treat!

I painstakingly went through all nougat candies on Amazon, taking great care to avoid "soft nougat candy". This item is for my mother who, at 94 has all her teeth in optimal health: she wants a nougat the way she remembers it from her childhood, hard nougat candy.So I picked up this quality because nowhere on the box they say that the candy is soft. NOWHERE.I received it today and lo and behold: SOFT nougat candy.Mom is not going to eat this stuff, and you should imagine that despite that ALL the nougat candy you offer is soft, there are still people who would like the original recipe!Why should we be taken aback by your selling gimmick and your mandatory soft nougat? Why don't you give people a straightforward and honest way to decide to pick up a DIFFERENT type from what you have arbitrarily decided we have to purchase?I cannot return the item, and I am wary of trying to get the hard nougat: since no matter what you purchase you end up with the soft kind because they have decided you like that one.
