Does the job of making an Edison screw bulb fit a bayonet light socket, but there is a risk of electric shock, to get around this, fit the adaptor to the bulb first, check to see if any of the metal of the bulb is visible (see photo) if there is, then wrap two turns of insulating tape (available from Amazon, see photo) to cover the gap between the bulb and the adapter. When installed out of reach (see photo of chandelier fitting) this will add safety during maintenance, however when installed In a table lamp or similar (see photo) your hand will touch this area when switching on and off, so the tape is imperative! The issue is that there is a 50% chance that the outer part of the bulb connecter will be at a lethal potential of 230V, so take extra care when using this useful device! I have included photos of two examples of where these adaptors have been used in enclosed bulkhead luminaries, where otherwise redundant LED bulbs have been put into use.

Used these as Philips hue e27’s were on offer on prime day but b22’s weren’t. Two seconds to install, works perfectly with Philips Hue bulbs, bulb does stuck down a little bit more but still covered by shade.

Allowed me to buy some low-wattage, screw fitting spotlight bulbs for my spotlight. Arrived on time and no problem fitting the new bulbs in the adapter and the adapter into the spotlight. The adapters extended the length of the bulbs by about 2cm which wasn’t a problem.

I bought these adaptors because if you buy an Led bulb of 1700 lumen, (150 Watt) it's almost always a screw in type not a bayonet fitting.This item is inexpensive and solves the problem. Works well. delivered on time. No problems

These did exactly what I wanted them to do. My husband had bought a screw bulb instead of bayonet, and because the box was damaged it was easier to get these adapters. Brilliant! Highly recommend them and they weren’t expensive either.

This connector is difficult to screw into some B22 plastic lamp holders, because the metal pins are slightly too long. But they can be shortened with a file, and then everything is fine
