The quality of this product seems good.
Bought this for my dogs to take as they sometimes take mega doses of fish oil to help with nervousness (which I feel works really well for them btw) and vitamin E requirements increases with increased intake of dietary polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). PUFAs are highly susceptible to oxidation and vitamin e prevents oxidation of the fats in the body. The quality of this product seems good.

Changed ingredients
Third purchase, bought in Feb & July 2017 and now Apr 2018. Dr Mercola makers have increased the rice bran amount from 185mg to 320mg and changed the label from IU to mg so it is unclear if the formula is the same. Looks to me like money saving and reduced quality. The price was four pounds more expensive. Bottle changed from white one in this photo to a dark glass bottle. Checked the LOT number and it appears similar to previous bottle so likely it is the real product and not fake but advise buyer caution.

This is a high quality Vitamin E supplement. I see several people's reviews claiming that you can find similar products for cheaper prices, or that they don't see any benefit paying more for Mercola's brand after feeling no noticeable effect. After reading the reviews/comments, I am convinced that more thorough research about brands and ingredients would help you understand better why this product is more than worth the extra few dollars. IN ADDITION TO this product being soy-free and non-GMO, this unique Vitamin E blend offers a mix of all 4 Tocopherols AND all 4 Tocotrienols (Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta). The benefits of all forms of Vitamin E can easily be researched online. Additionally, Mercola is one of the pioneers of this industry and he is known for offering high quality products, and he offers highly educational videos about all his products and many important health issues. I believe it is worth the extra money for this very high quality Vitamin E. Don't be fooled by brands that mislead and misinform customers about ingredients and manufacturing processes. Do your own research

Not sure if I made the right choice of vitamin E. Not saying the supplements are bad in any way but I think there’s just too much d alpha tocopherol compared to tocotrienols. I’ve read that too much tocopherols competes for absorption and in order to gain the benefit of tocotrienols you need more mg of it. So I might not be getting the benefit I think I should.
