Breaking Bad: The Final Seasons [DVD] [2017]

Speedy delivery, well packaged, excellent series

Just finished binge watching this for the second time after watching it so many years ago and it may have been even better the second time round. Absolutely brilliant. Epic.

MGM are noted for making slushy cheesy films filled with unbelievable stories of rich man meets poor girl; falls in love; and the woman gets to live a life of luxury. Not so here - MGM have broken the mould - for what you have in a gritty 'tell life as it really is' story – the sort favoured by Warner Brothers. Here is a ‘story well told’ that is filled with twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat - a story that is a 'black comedy' full of pathos, juxtapositions, intrigue, murder, and much much more as it examines the ‘dark’ side of ‘the human condition’. These are not two-dimensional characters without any depth that one encounters in many many films and TV series - these characters are real and 'true to life. All of the characters are seriously flawed; all of the characters are 'two-faced'; not one of them is 'nice' - and every character has their own 'hidden agenda' - and while you find that you cannot 'warm' to any of them, these sleazy double-dealing, double-crossing characters will speak VOLUMES to you – and make you question YOUR integrity. All things must come to an end – but – this amazing series has a VERY fascinating ending to what is a truly wonderful cinematic epic of gigantic proportions And the clever bit – you are ADDICTED – but there isn’t any more – now what?

About a guy making crystal meth, it's really exciting and violent. The different groups involved, One minute I'm hoping some of the criminals don't get killed, then hoping the cops will sort it out. I watched the whole series, and really enjoyed it

Of all the major "must see" tv series, Breaking Bad is the one that really finishes strongly and satisfactorily. Brilliant.

The delicate balance between comedy and suspense that this series achieved over such a long period and the consistency of direction (style etc.) and the superb acting make this a unique work of art! The villains are so gigantic in concept they are like something from Greek drama and yet completely believable, and we can feel the human being with his complexity in all of the characters. You can't help but empathise with Walter and Jesse and all of the rest in their turmoil.

Cette série finalement méconnue du grand public n'a pas le succès qu'elle mérite. Breaking Bad s'impose certainement comme l'un des meilleurs show de ces dernières années, alors que nous sommes constamment envahis par des séries bas de gamme, redondantes et donc sans intérêt. Cette série est un véritable chef d'oeuvre portée par une interprétation excellente de ses comédiens, Bryan Cranston en tête. L'évolution du personnage de Walter White est bluffante mais ne serait rien sans son interprétation. Un scénario exemplaire, une réalisation bien au dessus de la moyenne (des plans magnifiques intérieurs et extérieurs), et un point qui a selon moi toute son importance c'est la précision quasi parfaite apportée à ce show, pas un détail n'est laissé au hasard, l'ensemble est crédible et cohérent (toute proportion gardée bien entendue, ça reste du cinéma...). On jubile au simple fait de voir une situation "inexpliquée" dans la saison 1, s’éclaircir et prendre toute son importance 2 saisons plus tard. On en redemande, Bravo!

I purchased every season on amazon after watching the entire series i must say i started watching late as i got into it after season 4 but it is one of the best shows i have ever watched normally when a show ends it doesn't have the same feel as when it started like something is missing but breaking bad got better, my two favourite episodes were in the final season which is the confession video, and the very last episode, I'm blown away not just by the writing and acting but by even the small things like the camera angels and the music they play, This story is an amazing one, Walt (Bryan Cranston) was a meth distributor and occasionally killed people and yet he made millions of people fall in love with his character, I think people could relate to doing whatever they could for their family, All in all if you have not watched breaking bad do yourself a favour and go watch it!!

Breaking bad es sinonimo de calidad, no queda mas que decir, la calidad de los blu rays es de 10 en sonido, video, extras. Una compra obligada para cualquier amante de tv.
