Really regret replacing my old roborock q7 with this. It just seems incapable of cleaning a room. It misses large areas for no reason, and takes hours to complete the small areas it does. Had to return within a week

I love this! After having one of the first Roombas many many moons ago, I thought I'd treat myself to an upgrade. My goodness, why didn't I do it sooner! This new Roomba can figure out carpet from non carpeted flooring and either vacuum and mop or just vacuum, all on its own. It maps out your home and you can set up areas and schedules. I also have a Dyson and I thought that picked up more dust than most brands, but this little Roomba manages to fill its dust tray on top. It's low enough to go under my sofa, tables and beds. So worth it.

I'm having a lot of issues with mine and compared to my 8 year old iRobot Roomba 980 - is not as reliable.Doesn't hoover the door matts when mopping in the kitchen, the hoover channel gets damp and dirt and such cling on to it.I'm still waiting for support to actually help me.

Great product - my Roomba cleans well on all surfaces - seamlessly from mopping hardfloor to vacuuming carpet. I'm so impressed with the product I am looking to buy an cleaning base for it now. The design is great too. Thanks so much full stars from me!

Firstly, I bought mine directly from iRobot, since Amazon didn't have them in stock at the time.Even before buying it, I was not excited about having something running around in our flat with a camera and a broadband connection. And from a company that (at least for a while) worked in defense. But I was overruled, so let's concentrate on its functionality.First it doesn't do anything without the app. You can't even reboot it without the app, which is a bit of a problem when it decides to not connect to said app.When cleaning, unless the room is almost entirely dust-free, don't use the mop, it just fills the robot with dust-slush. Running it a single time with vacuuming only, isn't enough, it needs at least a few times. And it will still leave dust bunnies behind.This model was clearly designed to be used with its central bin (as a j7+, not a j7) and be allowed to run at all times. The on-device bin is tiny, even if there only a little dust, expect to clean it 3-4 times per room. Part of the problem is that some dust (hairs from rugs etc) don't make it into the bin, but clogs up the entrance to it.I basically think I spend as much time vacuuming with this roomba as I would with a normal vacuum, it's just miles more frustrating. It can go under sofas (you still need to remove dining room chairs, etc, the many legs block it), so that's an advantage that only a few normal hoovers have. But then it's not particularly good at the actual vacuuming part.I could return it, it was going back, overruling or not.

The Roomba j7 combo is an amazing robot vacuum and mop in 1. I had previously seen robot vacuums that could also mop but this required the mop to be attached manually and then the robot would just go everywhere mopping including on carpets which isn’t ideal. This roomba is the perfect solution, when it detects hard floors such as wooden floors or tiles it will automatically lower it’s mop but when it detects carpets or rugs it will lift the mop up and just vacuum meaning no effort is required on my part to hoover and mop a combination of carpets and hard flooring. The AI aspect is also really clever, it automatically detected shoes and avoiding vacuuming near them which was really clever although it didn’t quite recognise every obstacle but this is expected as it is still learning. The app is useful here as you can set up no go zones which are idea during christmas which decorations placed around to make sure the roomba doesn’t hit anything. The cleaning performance of the robot is really good and I love that I can just set it up to automatically clean every day and then if I want additional cleans I can use the app or just call alexa. I was amazed how quickly it made a map of my downstairs and like the ability to have multiple maps so I can move it upstairs to clean there without it forgetting the layout of other rooms. Overall, this has been one of my favourite purchases as it saves so much time and makes it easier to keep clean floors without the need to always pickup every single item like you need to with other robot vacuums.

The iRobot Roomba Combo J7 was a replacement for my first, very basic, robot hoover. What an upgrade it is! I resisted a mop and vacuum previously as it seemed too much hassle to put the mop on and off. This little beauty intelligently senses carpet and automatically lifts the mop pad safely onto the top of the machine in an hypnotic lever movement. I highly recommend reading the instructions before you start as you need to set it off on its maiden journey simply to map your floor areas. It’s quite entertaining to watch it negotiating thresholds and furniture etc. and it moves in a very organised fashion across the floor rather than the random pattern of my previous basic robot vacuum. It connects easily to Alexa which allows remote operation if required. The iRobot app is simple and clear to navigate and makes the vacuuming an easy job. Especially clever is the obstacle reporting (with photographs of the offending articles) and the “tidy up” option once you’ve lifted the items off the floor. Ice recently been very impressed with the ability to set a very specific job. With all the rock salt on the pavements my doorway was very messy. I was able to programme a vacuum and mop for just this small area. Took just a few minutes to complete. The ability to have it report a full bin and and empty water tank is a great feature. The iRobot Roomba Combo J7 may be a considered purchase but it does a 5 star job of the vacuuming and mopping of my floors and carpets.

Sono sempre stata scettica sull’acquisto di attrezzi di questo genere, per una necessità mi sono “buttata” e l’ho acquistato. Sono molto soddisfatta, fa molto bene il suo dovere, è molto facile nella configurazione della mappatura, l’app da un’assistenza costante, lo consiglio vivamente. Ci sono di più economici, non mi “avventurerei “ in quelli, la qualità va pagata.

Non capisco come sia una delle marche migliori.Questa è la 3° marca che provo!Senza wi-fi non ha la mappatura e quindi va a sbattere, ripassa più volte nello stesso punto e ne salta altri. Ho contattato l'assistenza e mi hanno risposto che tutti i loro prodotti hanno bisogno del router non della saponetta. Ma come?? State scherzando!! Ma perchè non lo scrivete nella descrizione?Quando si toglie e si estrae il contenitore della polvere per svuotarlo bisogna far attenzione a non piegarlo in avanti o il contenuto uscirà e cadrà a terra. E' alquanto scomodo l'inserimento del contenitore della polvere nel suo alloggio in quanto fatica ad agganciarsi.Ha una luce frontale che gli illumina il tragitto e questo gli permette di andare nel bagno cieco riuscendo a pulire. Quando aspira e lava riconosce i tappeti e gli gira attorno evitando di salirci; rispetto alle altre marche provate, il lavaggio è stato il migliore perché era uniforme, il pavimento risultava bagnato non a strisce come gli altri; ma ahimè dopo 2 settimane di utilizzo ha deciso di non lavare più benché il serbatoio dell'acqua sia pieno.Ovviamente chiederò il rimborso.

Dopo aver provato altre marche con risultati decisamente deludenti ho deciso di acquistare questo combo di ultima generazione per un aiuto efficiente a casa. Irobot e la marca migliore, almeno un sinonimo di garanzia.Il robot fa il suo, aspira per bene e lava per quello che può ma non può sostituire totalmente L uomo, quindi non aspettatevi miracoli. Fa il suo e lo fa bene, l applicazione e’ facile ed intuitiva ed il robot dopo una fase di assestamento con la mappa adesso si muove per bene dentro casa. La batteria ha una lunga durata ed è sufficiente per un centinaio di metri quadrati sia in fase di aspirazione che di lavaggio. Costa, ma almeno avete un prodotto valido e definitivo per L aiuto domestico.

The media could not be loaded. Dopo poche settimane dall’acquisto, il robot non riusciva più ad abbassare il braccetto x lavare il pavimento. Richiesto reso. Contattata dal venditore, ho accettato una riparazione, che non ha risolto il problema. Attualmente è di nuovo in assistenza. Il prodotto ha appena un anno. Avrei avuto diritto ad una sostituzione ed ho ottenuto “inutili riparazioni”. Sto valutando l’acquisto di un robot di un’altra marca…

Non capisco le recensioni positive. Avevo un Roomba del 2013 e non ho mai avuto problemi di contenitore polvere.Ora quest’ultimo va SEMPRE in allarme per contenitore pieno della polvere quando realmente il contenitore è ancora a metà della sua capienza. Ogni sera devo pulire sensori e svuotare 2 dita di polvere pregando che durante il mio orario lavorativo faccia il suo lavoro. Penso sia l’ultimo Roomba che acquisto.
